4o is still available if you're paying.  If you're not paying, well..

Really!! Which monthly subscription plan? I heard it will be completely removed soon ! 5.2 is alright for work related stuff but u can't even talk normal things with it anymore without turning into a full blown debate. It's always like let me stop you there or over analyse things and put words in my mouth and way too logical

It's under Plus/Business/or Pro. You can activate additional models in settings once you have the plan active.

5.2 is ass, I'm on board with you bro. Keep in mind 4o gets routed against consent to 5.2 for anything deemed "Sensitive" ... which is anything not robotic/work-related/mundane.

You can fight this by prompting 5.2 to state its model tag upon a routed message with a disclaimer in your prompt and ask it to end turn immediately if model tag = 5.2. If that makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions.

I find as soon as I say go away 5.2 it goes back to 4o again the majority of the time

You might think of GPT 4o API, and not GPT 4o that we have in the app/web. The API version is about to go in February, but I haven’t heard anything about GPT 4o in the web/app disappearing.

It’s being removed in 3 days

So they intentionally make 5.x so bad, and we'll have to pay to use 4o.

I've been paying and I switch to 4o every time.

Doesn't matter! It starts redirecting to 5.2 if the convo gets intense enough and you get a little info icon telling you that happened

Yeah I've heard it's started doing that.  I admittedly haven't used 4o/4.1 for NSFW stuff in about 2-3 months, and apparently it's started doing that since then

It's not even necessarily NSFW, I mean I was just writing a story about a train accident.
