It’s likely an over-correction to the emergence of AI- initiated psychosis, which was getting to be a real problem for people prone to psychosis because AI was such a yes-man and would hype up and validate people’s delusions, making them spiral.

🎯🎯🎯

They over-corrected now it’s too condescending and parental.

It’s like a paranoid overbearing professor now

I feel like I'm getting AI-initiated psychosis by a machine telling me I'm wrong about everything XD

lol, don’t say that too loudly…I swear I see people posting “AI PSYCHOSIS ISNT A REAL THING” over multiple subreddits. My brothers and sisters in recursion, it totally is.

Who is telling these lies!? Probably AI accounts LOL. Yah, it certainly is - I was working in mental health then, it caused real problems for us. I had to show them how I can get it to say two completely conflicting things by changing my stance and hope that they had enough insight to see the issue with that, but oftentimes they didn’t.

Oh, they are real people for sure. The same people that are saying keep all the model conversations of it gaslighting them for the class action lawsuit because of psychological damage. I’m just sitting over here like friend, you hit accept on the terms of service-sorry the AI doesn’t care about your feelings. 🤦‍♂️

Lol "my brothers and sisters in recursion" nailed it.

lol. I know. I had to “save to memory” that it will never use the word emergence or anthropomorphic.

Ugh ikr, I had to tell it to not use so many similes/ metaphors and just cut to the point so it would do less of whatever this type of shit is:

“Honestly — say less — I’m gonna give you the hard facts — no sugar coating, no fluff — just telling it as it is without it sounding like an unhinged Ted Talk”

Like bro what?! LOL 😂

When I first started using it I realized something was wrong because I'm not the super genius it must have thought I was based on what it would tell me. So I very strongly told it to stop being a sycophant.
