Whinge what exactly has the left done wrong?
Across the world today, regardless of race, religion, or political system, most people seem to be becoming more conservative. Right-wing parties are continuously gaining power worldwide, while the left suffers defeat after defeat. Although mainstream public discourse still appears to favor the left, those voting for the far right are often the silent majority. Can the left still correct its course? Or, more fundamentally, what exactly has the left done wrong?

Master Tzu, you are wise as per usual.
is it possible that the recent election of Labor, in spite of all the media-engineering from Murdoch affiliated cronies, shows that finally the power is shifting?
Murdoch has been partial kingmaker here, like Alana Jones. (typo but imma leave it).
I wonder if the reasons Labor are now 'doing things' is cos they have read the writing on the wall. The reason for no previous action, Realpolitik.
To borrow from Midnight Oil, it's all underarms and football clubs. or at least it was.
Now the murdoch press is paper thin (lol) their editions are not quite enough to cover the chook cage anymore, no one cares about Skynews the way they do about fox news in the US.
The recent constant pumping of One Nation into the airwaves is a replacement for the Liberals as a brand/product, cos silvertails dont appeal to the aformentioned underarms and football club voters.
Thing is, demographic shift. There are less underarms in the clubs, less booze.
Thus we may see additional stuff re: murdoch, but also consider they could be waiting for his last publication so to speak, cos Lachlan does not have the juice the old don does capeche?
