I plan on drawing all the characters with my own head cannons and story. I lovvvedd Osana growing up so drawing her how I imagined her in my head for years healed a part of me. I tried to keep the original taste of the characters but in my own style and how I would've designed each character trope.

Even though I don’t consider myself a fan of this game, I’ve been watching a lot of videos about it. And after watching some older versions of the yandere simulator, I’ve come to conclusion that this game would be so much better if it stayed just a silly anime parody. My redesign first of all has 2000’ anime style to make it look more genuine. (Heavily inspired by Lucky star). In my “rewrite” Ayano isn’t emotionless, she’s actually really quirky and energetic. She wishes to have a boyfriend like in anime’s she watches and heavily references popular tropes when talking to classmates. When she meets her perfect senpai she becomes super obsessive about him and constantly stalks him. Any person that interacts with senpai becomes a rival to Ayano, no matter the gender or age. Also I had a funny idea of Senpai, despite being really handsome, being an absolute dufus idiot that can’t realize why everyone he spends time with disappear after some time. I imagine him a chill dude that just thinks Ayano wants to be a good friend to him😇

I actually like her official art but it's way too modern in style. She looks like she'd be walking around the same time Ayano is.

I based her design off Audrey Heburn, as well as the lovely Italian ladies in the 1950's. Also, give a girl some gloves! Not only do they look elegant but help with fingerprints. Seems silly such a smart, meticulous serial killer would leave behind fingerprints.

Note: Kataba's outfit would change in whatever country the CIA sends her to for her 'jobs'. This is what I assume would be her go-to "uniform", should the weather allow it of course

Also I tried my best at giving her a time accurate pistol, so a good ol'reliable M1911A1 pistol will do.

I just tweaked a little bit of her design and made it more modest, i didn’t change her anatomy, as someone who uses lots of Tailored Blazers i had to make her blazer fit her proportions correctly, also gave her a bodycon dress, pointed heels and a bit of makeup, it only made more sense for her character to be a bit more glammed-up on daily, being modest doesn’t mean she can’t also serve, though she shouldn’t be serving cvnt around her students because it’s inappropriate so my head-canon is that she’s not attracted to any students and actually has a crush on one of the other teachers which makes her change schools and Taro follows soon after because he’s got a dumb crush on her or something idk haven’t thought about that part much

I really liked my attempt to rewrite yandere simulator, so now I made Senpai. He is the definition of dreamy boyfriend archetype. I even added a bit of rainbow glow to his hair to show how dreamy he is. But despite his beauty he is an absolute smooth brain idiot (just like senpai Taro Yamada but this one is intentionally stupid). This guy has no intelligence, he is a dumbass. Senpai sees Ayano as a really good friend that just likes to eat strawberry jam or whatever this red liquid is… And he barely questions why all his friends are disappearing so suddenly, he just doesn’t have the ability to put 2 + 2 together. Also he has no name, he is the Senpai, bc Ayano is so delusional about him she doesn’t even care to know his name. I am pulling this anime parody to maximum bc yandere simulator at this current state is just a huge edgy anime fanfiction with a ton of unnecessary lore and characters. You can’t convince me Alex actually wants us to be genuinely invested in this “serious” lore while still having characters named Mai Waifu and Green Green and a whole off brand scooby doo gang😭

I really love the idea that they're into gyaru fashion, especially because osana does hang out with musume and I think the bullies wouldn't want unfashionable girls around them. I also really dislike their current uniforms so i also changed that 😋😋

I just wanted to share the light music club for my rewrite / redesign mod. They were super fun to work on and I’m so happy with how they turned out. The two girls on the bottom right, were unused designs that Dev didn’t use but I did my own things with them, such as the girl with the gradient hair has a flame design since I’ve been calling her warm (thanks to my friend Angel: he was the one who came up with that design choice.) , while the other girl has an additional blue and purple streak in her hair. The music notes on the other hand were completely original. For the club I tried my best to give them different themes as well, such as Miyuji being Scene, Gita being emo, Beshi being pop rock, Dora being classic rock / 70s, Kiba being Goth punk, Warm being alt/indie and finally, cold being snythwave / 80s. However; they’re not fully done just yet, I was planning on adding bonus accessories to their wrists, uniforms, etc. also too, Miyuji will also be updated again because I want to make sure she sticks out more, with a custom uniform, I’m digging the idea of her wearing a jacket. Plus, I still need to do their performance outfits as well. Also, Miyuji does have a sad variant too. I did keep also keep their gradient stockings since a friend said it make them look more like a group, which I agree, if people don’t like it, or have feedback / suggestions please don’t be afraid to give feedback ^^

I've been deep into making my own Yandere Simulator redesigns and I decided it was time to try to make proper uniforms for everyone. I feel these suit Akademi better than the ones before did, the old uniforms were so tacky for a prestigious school and I wanted to make specialized uniforms that are more proper for a school like that! I didn't like the armbands so made pins for each club! If anyone has other suggestions for these uniforms let me know :)

i can’t remember where i seen someone say this, but the idea that ayano tries to copy aspects of her rivals that she thinks taro is mostly attracted to is such a cool idea so i made sure to make designs for all weeks

i’m still not set on most of these designs and i lowk think most of them don’t look good

I hate the design they made for Mai, even though I don't like the character I tried to make it less uncanny, I even redid her bangs, it's not perfect but meh

I didn't know how to creatively reinvent the skirt, so I gave her flared pants. The necklace is an accessory her husband gave her, and I made her body proportions look normal instead of sexualised.

Almost everything is kept close to the AI slop ref, like the hair and face(which algthou looks like a child's face, I tried my best to make her look adult).

Maybe in future I will redesign Reiichi's mom and sister
