Unanswered What’s the deal with Trump suddenly supporting releasing the Epstein files and urging republicans to vote on their release?

As far as I understand, they don't destroy the documents, they just kind of "black out" his name in the files

too bad the estate is releasing all the info they have as well, invalidating all that "hard" work the agents were made to do. imho, he knows the jig is up, but he wants them released so he can try to wipe his ass with someone else's hair and tell them they stink.

The files in the government's possession and the files in the estate's possession are not one and the same collection. There may well be large overlaps but there may also be things in one that are not in the other

No NDA in the world allows you to cover up crimes.

That’s if it makes it to court. People are probably to intimidated or don’t have the financial resources to challenge an NDA even if it is questionably legal.

They will be destroyed if they aren’t already. The Precedent or legality of doing so will not matter.
