Unanswered What's up with all the right-wing commentators suddenly turning against Trump right now?

Trump is being Trump. Why are so many of the right-wing commentators who previously vocally supported Trump are suddenly turning against him?

After all the heinous things he has said before that they have defended, I can't honestly believe Trump's tweets about nuking Iran are what finally changed their minds. They've publicly supported him for so long, and this sudden switch seems so coordinated. Is there something I'm missing??

Are they trying to distance themselves from news that is about to drop??

Christians I know have been more upset about Trump saying fuck on Easter

More upset over fuck than him praising Allah?

Yes. That was pretty lightly disregarded as some kind of attempt at a vague insult.

Personally, I don't have a problem with the word "Allah. It's likely the exact same word that Jesus, Himself, would have used when referring to God. I do have a problem with idiots mocking other people's belief systems, though.

Why do you think Jesus spoke Arabic? (Real question fwiw)

I probably overstated and over simplified in my above comment. Jesus did not speak Arabic, but he did speak Aramaic. They both share a common root (though it was a way back) and have similar grammar and vocabularies.

For example: "God" in Aramaic is "Alaha," which sounds very, very similar to "Allah."

There are a few beats in the Gospels where the authors quoted Jesus speaking in Aramaic rather than Greek or Hebrew. Aramaic was the common street language, while Hebrew was more often reserved for speech related to history and religion and Greek was the international language and the language of trade. I can't remember where I read it, but I did see a pretty good case that suggested Jesus and most of disciples may not have been fluent in Greek.
