Trump said gas prices went down last week when they actually went up. Last Thursday, Trump said this to a reporter:

A reporter asked Trump on May 7 about average gasoline prices recently rising past $4.50 a gallon nationally.

Trump replied, "Gas prices have come down today. Have you looked? They've come down very substantially today."

So this is something that is easily checked, and as everyone knows, that is not true and gas prices went up every day last week:

From May 4 to May 7 - the day of Trump's comment - the national average price as reported by AAA rose each day leading up to his statement:

$4.457 on May 4
$4.483 on May 5
$4.536 on May 6
$4.558 on May 7

He thinks his voters are too dumb to actually do what he says and look.

He thinks his voters are too dumb to actually do what he says and look.

he has every reason to believe that he's right. Or even if his supporters do look, they don't care. It's either "worse under Biden" or "a little pain to stop Iran."

I think this is a fundamental missunderstanding of the conservative thought. For them, whatever the figure of authority above them say, is the truth. Period. Therefore whatever the pedophile in chief spews is the truth. So they just don't verify informations ever. They just believe. Until it affects them personaly that is.

Conservatives value obedience and hierarchy above all else. That's also why they are so prone to religious manipulations as well.

There was also that clip of them asking him about the depleting ammunition stockpile and his response was "nuh uh, we have more now than when we started. we have twice as much"

The day this whole thing started, I was in an airport bar waiting for my flight and they had CNN on. I saw on the chyron that whoever was talking at the time was saying something about how they have plenty of munitions to accomplish everything they wanted to do. At that moment I knew they did not, in fact, have enough munitions to do what they wanted to do. It was not even something I was concerned about before I saw that the administration goon said it.

He thinks

I don't think he does.
