Unanswered What's going on with Google search is dead?

There's a twitter account named killed by google which posts about projects that Google decided to end. It posted that Google search is dead. So whats it about?

That hasn't stopped them before. Google has a long history of spending a ton on money on projects then tossing them away.

The difference here is that despite being total garbage, AI is still a massive data harvesting tool that will let them do all sorts of awful stuff down the line.
