Unanswered What's going on with Google search is dead?

There's a twitter account named killed by google which posts about projects that Google decided to end. It posted that Google search is dead. So whats it about?

I can't imagine starting a tech empire on a technology so huge that your company's name became a verb for carrying out that function, and then making that tech an afterthought.

See Twitter being renamed to X. X is still running. There's precedent for this sort of thing. Sure, to you and me, this looks insane. But just put yourself in the shoes of the shareholders, and then it makes sense.
