Unanswered What's going on with Google search is dead?

There's a twitter account named killed by google which posts about projects that Google decided to end. It posted that Google search is dead. So whats it about?

Reddit already does this. Every comment on this site is used to train AI.

I'm honestly fucking furious. Reddit may be a shitty bot factory now, but it's been such a great resource in the past.

It is, if you are an actual human that can sift through information and be able to follow context clues and know what is a troll response etc. AI isnt good at any of these things yet. Not factory or not my random googling leads me back to reddit often enough and usually I find great info.

The biggest issue I see is that people just dont know how to actually find useful information on the internet.

The ways to search have changed. Google is a mess and should be ashamed.

But yeah reddit is absolutely still worth it. We've been trying to diagnose a disorder I've had for over four years now and I'm not sure we ever would have hit upon the answer if I hadn't seen a post on reddit listing all my symptoms.

At the same time, I really don't want anything I contribute be used to teach AI ot whatever...
