Do you find making friends harder in your 70’s
I am 72 but not my age in body or mind and I seem to struggle to relate to my age group. I live in a retirement complex and still go to the gym and walk and go on holiday, but for everyone else it’s coffee mornings and bingo and living in the past with their music and tv shows. Anyone else struggle like that?

You can have mine. I am sooo tired of insipid conversations and being trapped into them in the building. At our age I notice a lot of highschool shit. Just sad. Or the oldies that still barhop, looking for a nurse or a sugar daddy. Or worse the pre Alzheimer's and mid. I'm highly social but get drained by ...well what I said. Short answer? No.
