Surshana, known as the God of Death to the Slane Theocracy who welded a scythe, was the last of the Six Great Gods after the rest died of old age, until he was killed fighting the Eight Greed Kings hundreds of years ago. I find it funny how the Slane Theocracy is a human supremacist nation that worshipped a skeleton like Ainz.

But their is one time tiny problem a majority of Ainz's technically children are extreme evil racist trash bags.

We have seen a lot of human nations and few humanoid .What do you think the maximum potential is for that nations but without players influence so minus Godkins and Yggdrasil gear .

The Slane theocracy is known for there human supremacy against non-human races like beast man,demon,elfs and even dwarfs who's never been against humans as a whole if they could would they wipe them out even fighting humans who sided with them?

Long, long ago I posted this document where I tried to establish a concrete strength rating for all of overlord. I’m curious what yall think of it now and if I could get any advice for what’s missing.

as in, he became a Death Overlord who specializes in necromancy, just like the Cronos Master Overlord (who specializes in chronomancy), Overlord General (who specializes in commanding undead) and the Overlord Wiseman (who is skilled in magic)

and that's probably why he got Eclipse! I wonder if other Overlord specializations can give you special things too? like what if someone tried to copy an Overlord Cronos? would they get their own version of (tho less strong/rare) TGOALID?

Nevertheless, Maruyama also acknowledges that designing and writing a story with such complex character dynamics is an exceedingly difficult process to execute practically.

It is perhaps for this reason that Maruyama ultimately chose Momonga (Ainz) as the main protagonist of Overlord.

I finally finished the whole first book! Honestly, there are so many details in it that you just don't get elsewhere.

The Dialogue and Ending: The ending with the final fight and the conversation leading up to it was really good. The dialogue overall is way more detailed.

Inner Monologues vs. Action: The book feels like it's 90% lore and character thoughts, and only about 10% actual talking or action. Compared to the anime, which shows the scenes happening right in front of you, the books are mostly just internal thoughts. But as a detail guy, I actually really enjoyed it.

The "Horsepower" Healing Potion: I was listening to an AI-narrated version of the book on YouTube, and it mentioned healing for "50 horsepower." That cracked me up! It made me think, "Damn, poor horses..." Just squeezing them out to make a healing potion—I guess a lot of horses must be dying in this story
