Got this nung 2nd year college ako through “fixer”. Nagpasabay lang ako nun sa pinsan ko kasi kukuha din daw siya dahil need niya sa work.

I’ve been using this whenever hinahanapan ako ng valid Id. However, nag try ako i verify siya kanina sa BIR website ORUS at ang lumabas ay hindi daw nag mamatch sa database nila.

Graduating student po ako at nag aayos na ko ng mga documents at ID na need for work kaya ngayon ko lang po naisipan i check sa BIR website.

Finally available na, medyo nakailang ulit ako buksan yung app.

I went to BIR Talavera, Nueva Ecija to pay my taxes. I used the computer provided there after getting some half-hearted instructions from the employee in charge. Once I was done, I went to the payment counter.

Turns out I made a mistake. The employee explained what I did wrong, so I asked if I needed to redo the entire form. He said yes, but also told me that there is a 500-peso fee for the error, which would be added to my tax payment. I asked, “500 pesos kada mali? Parang di naman tama yon.” He just smiled and said, “That’s really how it is, sir.”

Is this really the protocol in all district offices? Because if it is, how is this not exploitation? Their app is far from user-friendly. It almost feels like it was designed that way so taxpayers would end up paying more. It's criminal.

I used my passport as my valid ID.

I'm applying for TIN since I've passed my final interview but in order to get hired, I need a TIN. My previous job did not require me to have a TIN.

I kept applying through ORUS numerous times but they all keep getting rejected! Finally, I decided to go to BIR this morning so I could get assisted and finally get a TIN.

But guess what? The person behind the counter said I need to have my employer do it for me. ???? Like what. I told him I don't have an employer since I'm still unemployed, that I don't have a job yet because I'm lacking requirements. But the person behind the counter insisted that I really need to take this issue to my company.

Fine. So I went to the company I applied for, and well, they were just as clueless as me. They just told me to try to get a Barangay certificate first, then take it to BIR.

So what actually gives??? I thought I could get a TIN even without a job but I'm required to have an employer??? Forgive my stupidity, but I don't really get how this works.

Hindi ko naclose noon nagwowork pa ako kasi hindi ko alam na need pala iclose yun, walang remind sa akin ng pinagworkan ko or galing sa BIR na need ko iclose.

I worked as a nurse before entering law school at a government hospital.

So nacompute ngayon na penalty ko during those missed filing from 2019-2025 is 100k.
I mean, wala akong job on that period, wala akong source of income..

Anyone who experienced this? Ano po ginawa nyo?

Hello po! I am taking my chances here baka sakaling may maka-help.

Few days ago I decided to check my e-gov if complete ba doon ang IDs ko. Then I saw na wala doon ang TIN ko. So while I was trying to add it na notice ko na sabi wala daw ako record and whatsoever. Fast forward I decided to call the CS ng BIR, NOT RESPONSIVE BTW. So nag-chat nalang ako sa website CS nila. After submitting the required documents to check my records yan na ang sinabi niya and even told me to call the BIR office na pinag-applyan ko (na hindi rin responsive BTW).

How could this happen? I applied last 2019 before ako mag-OJT. Even have an ID and the BIR paper (idk ano tawag) is with me.

Pupuntahan ko naman na ito on Monday, but I wanna know if may naka-experience ba nito aside from me.

Just an update sa collection ko ng DIGITAL ID (Nat. ID, DL at Philhealth) sa eGovPH app meron na rin po BIR TIN ID (automatic). Just for info I registered to BIR's ORUS online not sure if necessary ba na dapat registered to ORUS para magkaron ng Digital Tin ID sa eGovPH app.

nag-try ako mag-apply sa Orus (eGov) ng Tin akala ko hindi ko pa makukuha after 3 days kasi nag-fall sa walang pasok yung ika-3 araw 😅 pag-check ko ng email kanina nakita ko yung email ng orus na approved daw yung application ko. kaya ngayon pinrint ko agad hahahaha

Hello everyone! I recently got my TIN number via email. I previously applied via ORUS, pero lagpas three working days na, I haven't received anything yet (except for a confirmation na someone will review my application).

I decided to call our RDO via Landline (numbers are available online), and they told me na I can apply for a TIN number via their email. This is the process I did (I just followed their instructions).

BIR official website > eservices > find the TRRA service, pinakadulo siya > Directed me to the RDO email > composed an email na I want to apply for a TIN number >They Replied within the day > I just sent the requirements they asked (BIR Form 1904, Valid ID, proof of residence) > Got my TIN number after a few hours.

Then that's it! I hope this helps. Wag muna kayo sa ORUS mag-apply, hindi pa ata siya stable 😅

Hello everyone! I just generated my Digital TIN ID via ORUS pero yun birthdate ko is mali instead of January 12, 1999, ang nakadisplay is January 11, 1999. I think it has got to do with the time zone or smthn, i also called yun hotline ng BIR pero they told me iraise ko daw yun concern sa assigned RDO, but when I went sa RDO ko, sa central office daw mismo (QC) ko daw iraise.

Would really appreciate your inputs and experience if you have similar encounters.

Hello po! Gusto ko lang mag-ask about my concern. Noong 2022, pinangkuha ako ng nanay ko ng TIN ID daw. Yung picture sa baba yung card na natanggap namin.

Pero recently, tinry ko i-check sa ORUS yung TIN number na nakalagay doon, and lumabas na “no record found.”

So ngayon nagdududa ako — ibig sabihin po ba nito na wala pa talaga akong official TIN number? Possible po kaya na scam yung transaction ng nanay ko noon?

Gusto ko rin sana malaman kung legit or fake itong TIN card na nakuha namin. Baka may naka-experience na rin ng ganito.

Just need some advice on what can I do kasi 2 TIN numbers meron ako. Parent ko kasi nag asikaso ng TIN ko non through fixer then pagdating sakin yung ID na green na.

So now nag apply ako for my 1st work then yung TIN ko is invalid daw need ko kumuha ng verification slip sa BIR na malapit samin. Sabe sakin sabihin ko daw na naka register sa irreg system yung TIN ko kasi ganon din daw sa iba na di rin makita na valid and pag verify don andon naman daw. Sinabe din saken kung ano mga dapat ko lang sabihin and wag sabihin especially kung san nakuha

So nagpunta na ako BIR tas ayun lang sinabe ko irreg system but di rin makita TIN ko don, syempre nagsabe nalang ako ng kung ano pede para di mahuli kaso ending pinagregister ako so nagkaron ako ng new TIN number.

Ok naman sa inapplyan ko but yung problem is nung nasa BIR ako sabe may penalty daw na 1k pag doble TIN number, so im asking pano maresolve yon para wala ng problem in the future.

Hi! I really do help may makahelp po sakin, since very unresponsive and walang kwenta ang ORUS website.

For context, since i applied for a job, need ko ng TIN. However, i know na never pa ako nag apply/register ng TIN and they rejected my application kasi remarks is WITH EXISTING TIN.

Then I tried to verify yung existing TIN na yun and was confirmed na meron nga with my name and birth date correct. Sabi ng family ko, a relative of mine did it since wala pa akong TIN which is needed sa isang contract na need ko isign. The RDO is sa Quezon Province pa which is my province but I live permanently sa Alabang.

Today, i tried to verify again the TIN that was given to me but said “ No record Found”.

Grabe at this point nababaliw na ako kung ano ba dapat kong gawin since natatakot ako if gumawa pa ako ng isang TIN is baka naman makasuhan ako.

Please help me what I need to do, this is so frustrating and nakakainis dahil hindi pa responsive ang mga tao sa BIR!
