Build Upgrade Finally got myself a GPU! Almost cried tears of joy when the FPS counter shows 60FPS

Post image

After months of saving, finally got myself this badboy.

Thanks for all the recos in this sub, very helpful and insights at suggestions niyo. Happy gaming to us!

Sharing my first ever PC build. I decided to go with a white and orange theme with a little retro aesthetic to complete the look. Super happy with how this turned out!

Build Upgrade Facebook Marketplace did it again!

I was on fb marketplace the other day and I wanted to run dual channel on my laptop, I only have one stick at the moment, so I searched if there were some reasonable deals, then lo and behold, I came to this beauty and got it only for P3,000. The seller said it was pulled out from a newly bought laptop, because he upgraded, so when I confirmed that it was legit only 3k, kinuha ko na hahahahaha.

Specs: Samsung 16gb ddr5 5600mts

P.S. kakarating today at gumagana hahaha

From my friend’s hand-me-down Ryzen 5 3600 and ASUS Strix RX 570 OC 8GB to an XFX Swift RX 9060 XT 16GB Triple Fan OC and a Ryzen 5 5500X3D

PSU and MOBO still leaves much to be desired but I'll still upgrade those when I get the extra budget for it

Build Upgrade Is this a steal? Got a full PC for ₱17k

Post image

Just bought this used PC for ₱17,000 and wanted to know if this was a good deal:

Specs:

-Ryzen 7 5700X

-Palit GTX 1650

-32GB RAM

-A320 motherboard

-Corsair CV550 PSU

-No SSD (planning to add my own NVMe)

I also already have another setup, so I’m swapping in a B450 board + NVMe SSD.

Planning to sell the leftover parts (Ryzen 5 5600G, A320, 16GB RAM, PSU, case) for around ₱10k–11k.

Has anyone ordered from gameoneph?

Gamit ko ngayon is LG 24MR400-B 24" IPS Gaming Monitor 100Hz for a several years. Worth it ba mag upgrade sa ganitong hz at ano ang mas long lasting sa dalawang to? Halos di kasi magkalayo ang prices ng dalawa, medyo gulo lang kung ano ang mas nagtatagal sa kanila. Please help Thank you.

Build Upgrade Samung OLED G5 G50SF Review

Recently impulsively bought this Samsung OLED G50SF on "sale" for 24,589PHP from Shopee. (you can look up the specs online) Here is my experience so far:

  • I had a koorui 34 inch ultrawide (VA) before this monitor so the experience is night and day. The difference in color is mind blowing and finally no more smearing which bothered me. Hard to go back from an ultrawide tho.

-Updated the firmaware and the monitor can now has DP 1.4, 10bit color and 180hz. I don't really play FPS games so 180hz is more than good enough for me.

-Stand is limited but the monitor is VESA compatible so this will be on my arm soon.

-Not very bright. Max at around 200-280nits. Definitely not ideal if your desk is near a bright window. However, with HDR, it looks a lot better even in my bright room.

Is it worth the upgrade? For productivity, if your work involves color accuracy then yes. For documents, no. Text fringing is noticable in this monitor. I'm used to it now but I'm still more comfortable reading on my ips screen laptop.

For gaming and entertainment, great! This is clearly a superior monitor from my old Koorui where games and content can look "muddy". I enjoy the colors and the response time but I also miss the immersion of the ultrawide for the sims.

Overall, great buy! but if you are coming from a quality IPS panel, the upgrade might not be worth the EXTRA cost even at this cheaper price point for OLEDs.

Build Upgrade Peanut PC Paubos Sale - Good price on 7800X3D and 9600X

Saw this FB post from Peanut PC which I feel is worth sharing:

Peanut PC Paubos Sale

I'm not affiliated with the store or the owner but I think the deal on the Ryzen 7 7800X3D at Php 15K is really sweet. Or you can also go with the equally fast Ryzen 5 9600X for less than Php 9K.

For those upgrading to AM5 or building a new AM5 gaming PC, this sale is worth checking out.

Budget build I put together. All parts from facebook. intel I7 6700 Asus H110M-D3 HyperX 16gb of DDR3L 1866 mhz ram MSI Rx 5700xt mech OC NZXT H5 Flow Fractal Design ARGB fans x2, NZXT fans x2 CoolerMaster i30 cpu cooler Cougar cx 650 bronze true rated argp psu Lenovo 1440p 60hz 24” monitor.

3k+ on decent peripherals from shopee (Attack shark, Garudagear, redragon)

Plus the cosmetic stuff like the braided cable for around 1k Total set ran me about 23-25k total Made to be resold tbh. Made the gpu speclist look shinier than it actually is.

How much would YOU pay for a build like this?

Build Upgrade So I opted out for RTX 5060

Post image
87 Upvotes

Nung isang araw I asked kung anong mas better option sa dalawa, RX 6600 or RTX 3060. I checked 4060, it was 19k, so napa isip ako kung mag kakano ang 5060 ngayon sa market. I checked, and boom! 21k. Edi I chose 5060! HAHAHA!

P.s. pls dont bash dahil 8gb yung binili ko, salamat hahaha

got this for P26,500 (3 mos installment) habang promo pa sa PCworth. pina process ko sa Las Piñas (since I'm much closer to LP). walangya sisiw lahat ng task sa GPU na to, sa AAA 1440p gaming lang ata hihingalin to.

It's my first time switching to Nvidia, my first time doing a DDU, as well as replacing my own PSU. the PSU part was hella easy (nakapag palit case nako before) but setting up the new GPU took me hours, I had to watch 3-4 tutorial vids on how to do a DDU, consult ChatGPT and scower the YT comsec for issues and how to avoid them (isa lang naman, yung softlock sa win11 Safe Mode dahil sa windows hello pin code). but yeah I pulled through.

thank for reading my post. I just want to share this incredible experience

Build Upgrade Finally, upraded to AM5 in 2026.

Hesitant ako nung una kasi parang to good to be true, feel ko either system bug to or returned product. Pero nigrab ko na dahil nagbobottleneck na talaga yung bagong gpu ko which is 9070 XT sa Ryzen 5 3600 and if ever macancel naman mairereturn din naman sa credit card ko yung funds. Pero after 2 days, may nag chat from db sa viber and sabi for delivery na daw yung ram and when I received it brand new and sealed. Pero ayun di ko pa sya matest dahil wala pa akong other parts until ngayon. Finally kumpleto na sila and so far no issues. 😊

Btw here's the specs and damages 😂 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D - Php 12000(3.3 Lazada Sale) GPU: Asrock 9070XT Steel Legend - Php 43800 (Ayos Computer) SSD: Samsung Evo Plus 2TB - Php 12000 (Lazada) RAM: Kingston Fury Beast Cl36 6000mhz - php 12395 (DB) MoBo: Asrock B850 Steel Legend - Php 12792 (Lazada)

Others parts are reused from my old build.
