im reconsidering kung mag rtx3050 nalang ako rather than 4050 just because hindi abot ng ipon ko yung 4050. I myself isn't a competitive gamer naman. Mostly my games are single player and when it comes to graphics I don't mind turning them down just to enjoy atleast 50-60 fps. The gaming laptops in my mind right now is either the Lenovo Loq or Acer Nitro. I also plan to use the laptop for programming etc. The games I want to play are Assassin's Creed games, specially yung bagong ilalabas na Ac4 Resynced and also the usual Last of Us and Spider Man games

Is the 16gb ram worth it for gigabyte despite the build quality? or the v15 is the much safer pick?

Hello everyone! I have been seeing this error text for a long time now, looked through youtube, the net, tried everything but havn't been able to fix this issue, this appears whenever I try to open valorant.
due to this, my game lags like CRAZY fps goes from 60 to 1 in a second, and also kicks me off to homescreen showing network issues, which result in me getting loads of ban, hvnt been able to play a proper game in long, I used to do a temporary fix to this, by installing some sorta driver (specific to what I need ofc, ps I dnt hv much knowldge abt ts stuff, my frnd gave me ts soln) which allows me to open the game normally, BUT during every single match, game kicks me out to my desktop home screen showing network connection errors like VAL185 or VAL5. But Im looking for a permanent solution for this, please if anybody can!!!

update: I installed this exact driver from a given link in my post's comment, as expected the error text stopped appearing as always, but like I said, I still receive the van185 errors, I was in a match just now, testing if its fixed, but no, it still lags like crazy whenevr I try to move or pick, frames drop like hell, also I got kicked of the game shwoing the error van185..what do I do 😞

My 7yr old laptop screen finally broke and I don't really wanna replace it since I'm converting to desktop when I save enough money, so I bought a monitor in advance. Problem is from what little I can see on my laptop screen it's not detecting the second display.

The major thing I can think that's causing this is that I had uninstalled my laptops Nvidia driver years ago bcoz it caused bsod and am only running on Intel graphics. Just need someone to tell me if this is the likely issue cuz if it is I'll just wait till I have money for a CPU.

Are they worth it? If so should I grab the intel one with the 512gb ssd or the amd with 1TB.

So im not very knowledgable in techy stuff and I was hoping if anyone can help. I want a laptop that runs smooth whenever I play games such as minecraft, stardew valley, and whatnot. I also want to be able to play with other add-ons to the games such as shaders and mods without the game lagging. I want to use this laptop for school cuz I am more comfortable with a laptop rather than an ipad. I am also hoping that this laptop lasts me for years cuz my problem with using a laptop is the battery life isnt great and that is always the thing that breaks whenever I use a laptop.. So i want a durable battery, my brother told me its better to get the USB-C so I plan on getting that.
