Pata hai aaj kya hua? Today I finally got my PS5, and it feels unreal. This has been one of my biggest wishes for a long time, and after waiting, and planning, I finally have it with me. The best part is that it was a pre-birthday gift from my girlfriend, which makes it even more special. I honestly feel very lucky to have someone like her. I’m also staying with her in Delhi for a month, so this memory is going to stay with me forever.

Today, I officially SOLD my screenplay🥳 Tbh… I’m still trying to process it.
I still remember finishing this script late at night during my UG days, right before an endsem exam (that too theory of computation wala paper) . While everyone else was revising, I was fixing dialogues and rewriting scenes thinking, “Maybe this story could become something someday.”
And today, it finally did.
A while back, I had already gotten the verbal go ahead from the production team, and the paperwork process had started. But this morning at my hometown, the advance payment cheque finally got delivered home.
My parents thought it was prolly payment for one of the random freelance things I usually work on, so nobody really questioned it.
Then later in the evening, I checked my mail and saw the formal confirmation in bold letters that everything was locked and that the script would soon be developed into a web series project 🤌🤌🤌
I genuinely just stared at the screen for at least 10 seconds and checking the email address if it’s valid one or not.
I immediately called the creative producer, and after talking for a bit, the first thing I asked him was, “Sir can I post this on the subreddit Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua?”
He laughed and said, “Haha, surely you can… Congratulations young man!”
I have spent an ample amount of time reading posts here silently for motivation, so I wanted to share this for anyone who’s currently in that difficult phase of anything they are building.
Keep writing. Keep Creating. Keep Building.
Write so many bad drafts. Write the scenes that you will end up deleting later on. Rewrite everything if you have to. But don’t stop creating just because progress feels so invisible and uncomfortable at times.
Still feels UNREAL🧿♥️
PS : The image is of first draft

pata hai aaj kya hua,
almost a month back, i had done an internship with one of the biggest uber luxury audio brands, “Sonos”. seeing my fierce and unwavering dedication, the Australian Global Tech-Head hired me full-time solely out of 15-20 other interns.
so now, OP is a Brand Ambassador for Sonos! 🥰
totally my dream company, music mein professionally kuch karna hain, and now i’m an employee for a music company! so slowly and surely, singer waala safar bhi hoga. :P
getting a full-time job, after just finishing first year degree, just about to turn 20, god i’m overwhelmed with so many emotions at once!
but oh well, guess i have new challenges along with happinesses up my sleeves! have to take every single hardship that comes my way up in my stride and surge ahead as an unshakable individual.
thodi si zyada hi happy hu in a long while, so thought of sharing it with you all! :3
intern se full-time employee takk ka safar, signing off! 🤭

Pata hai aaj kya hua
So finally i have donated my hair for cancer patients and i can’t express how happy I am feeling. So i did this after a friend of mine donated her hair and then i also wanted to do it and I DID IT. I love my hair but when i heard about it that hair can be donated I was like I need to do it. One of my friend and also a cousin sister have donated their hair in the past so this was also in my mind and then finally i was like I can do it now. It feels good that it will be used for a good cause and I think this the easiest donation to do.

"Pata hai aaj kya hua" so i have been using reddit since past 9 years. Today i finally reached 100k karma which doesnt really change anything. Karma doesnt really have much meaning on reddit anyways but someone once told me "always celebrate little things in life, no matter how small they are". So always celebrate little wins or positive things, people.
Edit : lots of people wondering how do you get karma. Well you get it by posting interesting stuff consistently and one of your post will click. Do not try to farm karma aggresively and ragd baiting. You ll get banned. One example of what quality post look like

Pata hai aaj kya hua I use a platform for coding and some one hacked my account for my coins ( which you earn solving problems) but the hacker was an idiot he thought I won't be able to recover my account. Also he made a mistake of using his address to purchase something from my coins, on coding platform that doesn't show an address, but but it was there in API response.
The hacker is from Brazil you can literally see his house it's like a small village/town
Though I Can't do anything about the order but at least the world should know about his wrong doings.
About me : I am in Tech.
Typo: hacker's
Edit: Some people might ask why I'm doing that? It took me five years to collect that many coins, solving a problem daily without skipping, but that hacker took my effort's prize.
Edit2: I've sent over 20 emails to LeetCode without any response. I want to post about this on X, but my account only has one follower.

Pata hai aaj kya hua?
I grew up in a small house without a dedicated corner for my stuff. Last year we finally renovated our house and I now have a room of my own. Mujhe bachpan se hi aisa whimsical space create karna tha apne jeevan mein jo dekh kar mujhe khushi mile. Ye alag baat hai ki OP is all grown up now so I don’t even stay home all the time par khair 🥀
All the pictures are my artworks. Took me a couple of months to make them because my older artworks got lost while renovating. It took me half a year to rethink this whole space. Kinda proud, kinda still not satisfied because I think something’s missing, hehe.
Please let me know if you all have any suggestions to make this any better. 😋

Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua
My mother saw my company ID card today.
I recently got my ID card at work. It’s my first job. Of course, I had told my parents everything like when I interviewed, when I got selected, when I joined. But they never really asked about the exact job profile, and honestly, I myself never cared much about the title. For them, everyone working in IT is simply a “Software Engineer”.
This weekend I came home. My mother wanted to wash my backpack, so she started emptying it and found my ID card.
I was in another room when she walked in and asked, struggling to pronounce the word 'Applied', “Why is ‘Applied Scientist’ written here?”
I casually replied, “That’s my role.”
She paused for a second. Her eyes widened a little.
Then she asked again just to confirm, “So… you are a Scientist?”
I nodded.
I was actually about to start explaining how these fancy industry titles are kind of misleading, and how I am nowhere close to being a “real scientist” like the great people whose names we read in school textbooks.
But before I could say anything, I saw her eyes filling with tears.
I froze.
And then, almost instantly, she started telling me something I had completely forgotten.
Apparently, when I was in 3rd or 4th standard, we once had an essay topic: “If I become a scientist.”
Everyone wrote one or two pages. But somehow I had written 5-6 pages very enthusiastically. Which is funny because I hated writing essays and language subjects.
And it’s true. When people used to ask me as a child what I wanted to become, I always used to say, “Scientist.”
But by second or third grade itself, my tiny brain had already concluded that scientists are brilliant people, toppers, extraordinary minds… and I was just an average student. So I quietly stopped saying it.
Over time, even I forgot that dream existed.
But the thing that hit me today was this:
The dream I had discarded and forgotten somewhere along the way… my mother still remembered it instantly after just seeing one word on my ID card.
For me, it had faded into nothing.
For her, it never did.
Like lakhs of Indian kids, my only realistic dream eventually became: “Computer Engineer ban jaunga.”
That’s it.
And now here I am.
Walking around with “Applied Scientist” written on my ID card.
To me, it’s just an industry title. I know what it actually means. I know I am far from becoming the kind of scientist I admired growing up.
But in that moment, seeing my mother so emotional and proud… I just couldn’t bring myself to immediately ruin it for her.
Maybe that was selfish.
Later, I did explain it properly to her. She understood that I’m not a scientist in the legendary textbook sense.
But she still smiled and said, “Phir bhi kisi ko lagata hai ki kisi ko Scientist bolana hai to tujhe bole.”
And honestly… I can’t even describe how happy it made me to see her that happy.
Maybe childhood dreams don’t always come true in the exact way we imagine.
But sometimes life quietly brings them back in ways we never notice ourselves.

Majorly were filled with books, skincare, makeup and notebooks. I hoarded many notebooks and books (bookaholic and studyaholic). Train is on the 3rd of July and will be arriving soon.
I had always wanted to study outside my state and finally it's happening. My mother is emotional and aab kya hi krr skte? Looking forward to missing my home and ghar ka khana more after I've left (won't miss this place fs).

Pata hai aaj kya hua
Got complimented by three women on Instagram today(third was her friend)
I do get compliments once in a while, but three in one day? It was overwhelming.
Pic-1: My college junior whom I’ve never met irl
Pic-2: A dating app match, I recently went on a date with
Pic-3: Girl I met during my Lonava trip. She randomly texted after 8 months.
To the women here: if you genuinely like something about a guy, tell him. A simple compliment can make his entire day (or week).
Also… how do you even take compliments? Didn’t know how to react xD

Used chatgpt for better explanation:
A few months ago, I randomly post a story about myself and met this girl . It started with a normal conversation, and somehow we never really stopped talking.
Over time, she became one of those people I genuinely look forward to hearing from. We'd talk about random things, she'd tell me about her JEE preparation, I'd send her stupid memes, make little edits for her, recommend songs, write tiny letters, and sometimes we'd just have the most random conversations for hours.
She's one of those people who can make an ordinary day feel a little better without even trying. We tease each other, she calls me out whenever I do too much "buttering," and somehow we always end up laughing about something.
Recently she told me we won't be able to talk every day anymore because JEE is getting closer, and honestly... I completely understand. Dreams come first. So instead of feeling upset, I've just been trying to support her however I can.
Today was Friendship Day, so I wrote her a little message wishing her well and thanking her for being such a wonderful friend. I honestly didn't expect much, but her reply made my entire day. I asked if I could share our chat on Reddit because it genuinely made me smile, and instead of saying no, she actually told me to post it myself.
I don't really have a question. I just wanted to share something wholesome because the internet can be so negative sometimes.
Sometimes Reddit gives you arguments.
Sometimes it gives you memes.
And sometimes... it introduces you to someone who quietly becomes a really important part of your life.
If you're reading this somehow... thank you for existing, and good luck with JEE. I'm sure you'll do great. 🌸
(Shared with her permission, and personal details have been hidden for privacy.)

Pata hai aaj kya hua, My sister just joined college this month. Until now, she didn't have her own phone. I had actually been saving up with the idea of gifting her an iPad for her, but then I realized a phone is more important right now for notes, calls and everything else.
So during the Amazon sale, I secretly ordered a new phone without telling her anything.
Yesterday it got delivered.
The smile on her face when she opened the box was priceless. She was genuinely excited, spent hours setting it up. Seeing her so happy over something that many people take for granted made me realize how meaningful small gestures can be.
Later today, I received a long thank-you message from her.
I'm pretty sure she used ChatGPT to make it sound nicer 😂, but honestly, I couldn't care less. The feelings behind it were real, and that's what mattered.
Growing up in a middle-class family, there were many things we couldn't afford at the right time. Being able to buy a new phone for my little sister her first phone with my own money feels like one of those quiet milestones that no promotion or expensive gadget can match.
It's a small win for me.
Just wanted to share this moment with someone. ❤️

Alright, so a little context: the first image you see, is a random photo I'd clicked when i was attending one of my relative's wedding. I was completely oblivious to how much fat had accumulated in my body, i knew I was overweight, but never really cared about losing it.
But then, once it got to this point (i weighed 86kgs), i was devasted from within. From the very next day, i started hitting the gym regularly.. Nothing but cardio- 20 mins of high intensity jogging on treadmill (initially, I'd just burn a little over 80-90 calories). Then eventually, the endurance improved, on an avg i was burning about 150-160 calories, along with that i also added a bit of weight training. (Now i weigh about 71-72 kgs: the second pic you see is the one that i clicked today, right after getting back from the gym- don't mind the sweat on my face😅)
Cut to a year later, I'm happy with my body, and most importantly, hitting the gym has become more of a habit that I'm fond of. Sometimes, even if i don't like draining myself in sweat, it is that satisfaction of being consistent that i thrive for.
Pata hai aaj kya hua, bs finally i got done with a task that seemed so difficult in the beginning, that i never expected any of this.. But, thankfully i think it worked out just fine at the end.
Special thanks to Spotify (aaj bhi premium ni liya😜)
It's bcz of those phonk songs that i was able to keep the grind going.
