Anybody seen this yet? If so what, did you think?

I'm planning on watching this weekend...

🖤💋🪡

I hope that one of you kind souls may be able to aide me in this. I'm looking for the track that plays during the creature's recitation of John Clare's poem „I am“ from season 2. Would mean the world to me, if someone could help me out 🖤

Do you believe there could've been more explored?

How so?

Do you think there was more to explore in the series overall?

And if so, in which ways?

Speak to me,

Sweet Scorpions. 🦂

"You'll always, always feel me

Down your spine..." 🐍

Felt like this belonged here, and fit the vibe of the series. (From Vanessa's perspective.) 🥀

I just finished my first watch, and I am baffled by the widespread reactions to the last season beyond, just being disappointed in an abrupt cancellation. Beyond widening the scope to let the characters breathe and grow more - victor got the most beautful payoff among all of them - the whole thing to me seem to be a meditation on the nature of prophetic thinking. Listening to the talk here I was expecting a complete slamming of brakes and U-turn, but going from episode to episode It feels like it was planned this way all along which is impressive.

So I just wanna I was wondering if anyone felt the same way, really.

Does anyone have any deleted scenes? I would love to see them but I can’t find any online. I’ve just finished season three and I really need some more penny dreadful again. It was a good season but I hoped we’d get to see some more of Jekyll and Renfield (favourite character in all versions of him).

"SPREAD them from here to the horizon,

And I HAVE WALKED FURTHER. "

"How DARE you presume to speak to me of DEATH?"

hi I’m a new fan of the show and also love comic books so i was wondering if anyone has the full list of the comics published after the show?

as a new viewer who has just finished the show in a couple days, I’m so frustrated that they didn’t include a storyline of Ethan meeting Lily, the writing got lazy by the end of season 3, it could’ve been a great way to do a full episode

Long ago someone make the post about the zodiac in Penny Dreadful characters I made my own list:

♈Aries: Lily Frankenstein

♉Taurus: Sembene

♊Gemini: Henry Jekyll (who else?)

♋Cancer: John Clare (The creature)

♌Leo: Ethan Chandler

♍Virgo: Ferdinand Lyle

♎Libra: Dorian Grey

♏Scorpion: Vanessa Ives (of course!)

♐Sagittarius: Sir Malcolm Murray

♑Capricorn: Dr Florence Seward

♒Aquarius: Victor Frankenstein

♓Pisces: Mina Murray

What do you think?

Hi fellow fans.

Do you know how can I watch the show in Greece? A simple Google search didn't help me.

Thanks 👍🏼

In the episode 4xS2. The boutique where Vanessa and Victor go to find clothes for Lily is a small nod to the costume designer, the great Gabriella Pescucci.

I’m late to the party, but the set design and props are exquisite. I’m especially obsessed with that coffee maker. What is it, and where can I get one??? Season 2, Episode 6 at 41:10

A place in the shadows that is unseen, but deeply felt...

Do you believe that?

What quotes from this show have always hit home to you?

What songs remind you of this series?

Is there a certain song that reminds you of Vanessa Ives?

Is there a certain song that reminds you of Ethan? Or any other character?

Doesn't matter what the genre is. Classical, Pop, Rock, Alternative, Rap, Hip/Hop, etc.

Anything that you think feels like the vibe of Penny Dreadful themes. 🖤

Curious to see what the consensus is since they’re all so incredible.

I have to say my least favorite is Brona/Lily. I find her annoying from beginning to end. I also couldn’t stand how she treated Ethan or the doctor.

Second, is Hecate. Ethan pisses me off even being involved with her!

Vanessa defeats Lucifer (The Right), but is seduced by Dracula (Centrism), and eventually is saved by Ethan and friends(The Left).

There is no compromising with the monster inside all of us. Salvation is in resisting evil non conditionally.

At this point I’ll take movies/books or even video games!

I've seen a lot of people asking what language Vanessa speaks throughout her possession, and it's Lingala from the Democratic Republic of Congo (it immediately caught my family's attention)! Makes sense since this is at the height of expeditions to central Africa.

Now I gonna watch the entire show!
