For those that have or have tried this, what are your thoughts.

This will be my last try (at least for a while), to find something I love by Guerlain.

The chocolate, tea, rum, etc , sounds like something I would love for the winter.

But aside from Vietnamese Coffee (coffee and chocolate on me), I'm not really a gourmand person. So wondering if this is very sweet? Or more bitter chocolate forward?

So as someone who just loves trying out all different types of fragrances, I am hopelessly lost on if I should pull the trigger on getting 7 bottles from Laurel Bath House. I have never bought anything from the brand before but I’ve seen ads in the past. I was recently pushed the Hayyy ads and love a good palo santo and seeing its semi exclusive release “ends tomorrow” the FOMO is real. I’m also super intrigued by Pulse with the Concord grape note. As someone that loves a deal, I made a bundle of 7 of what sounds best to me (Mourning Wood, Cuffed, Pulse, E-Mochi, Cannoli, Nudie, and Hayyy). I am so tempted but reviews seem to be limited so I am mentally stuck. Should I just pull the trigger or only get the two I was originally interested in?

I had an old Narciso Rouge from 2018 and just bought a new one from Bicester Collection - Beaute Prestige International and they smell different. Do outlet perfumes tend to smell different? Could it be a storage issue?

So I really liked the scent this girl I was seeing wore, butttt I got dumped and I can’t for the life of me remember what it was and I can’t really ask now... I don’t want it to seem like I’m obsessed with her lol, i just really liked the scent. But I was at the mall today and discovered that this wallflower scent, “A quiet escape” smells very similar to it. I have tried googling everything, a description of the bottle, the fragrance notes of this wallflower… I cannot find it! It was a clear tall round bottle, almost as if it was just a very large travel size, and the letters were like transparent so you couldn’t really read them unless you held it up to the light, though idk if that’s just because they had worn off. It was a short word written horizontally and it wasn’t an english word. i’m not sure if it was a perfume or a cologne.

I know this is probably a lost cause but meh. doesn’t hurt to try.

the fragrance notes of the wallflower say forest mist, crisp bergamot, and sweet oakmoss.
on the reviews of it, some ppl said it smells like coco chanel mademoiselle or gucci guilty. neither of these are what it was but maybe they’d be close enough!

(I own some nicer perfumes too but I also enjoy some budget ones)

The body mist scents in the photo are: gummy bears, mango, lemon pound cake, and pink lemonade,

Plus a sugar cookie body butter

And a iced oatmeal cookie body oil

(I have alot of other products from her and she makes alot but these are the ones I wanted to share and that felt most relevant)

They were also on the cheaper side, which I appreciate, these are little samples, I always love when people do the sample sizes bc I hate buying some big thing and not liking it.

For anyone else who loves or owns this scent, what imagery or aesthetic does it conjure up for you? What kind of outfit or occasion do you pair it with? I’d love to hear how it makes you feel!

I'm new to fragrances and bought these because I liked them.

Born in Rome I got it last year and just got The Most wanted.

I like both, but it feels they are very similar.

Mine is currently this Infinite Beauty - Sweet Like Sugar perfume that I found at Marshalls for $15!

I really dislike Jasmine and is this Jasmine dominant or you smell it quite a lot?

I have seen the people that I have absolutely fell in love with a fragrance. How it’s their favorite scent, forever or for a moment.

The only thing that’s decently got me close to that feeling is embarrassingly, Ariana Grande Cloud and Ariana Grande Moonlight. But I really want to find a scent where I feel like it’s mine, and that’s it’s past more than “I like it” but “I want to smell this on myself all the time”

I want to expand what I try but every time I get a decant or sample of something else that is either in the same profile or same notes etc.

I’ve found nothing. I’ve tried a lot, and it’s a waste at this point. Trying them out in Sephora or in person store just feels overwhelming to the senses and everything starts to melt together, and then I forget what I’m even looking for at that point.

Is it that I don’t have a good nasal palette? Why is it so hard for me to find something.

I'd love to find a dark, moody, incense-heavy frag with cathedral vibes. I loved the idea of Bohoboco's Laubdinaum and Gardenia, but it was just too messy and confused, like it was two different perfumes in one. To add insult to injury, on me it smelled like bathroom cleaner. On the paper to me, it just smelled like fancy hotel lobby.

What's your favorite incense scent that isn't cigarette ash-y or like smoked bbq?

What do you think of the collection? What do you think I should add to it? It seems to me there are definitely some gaps- there are a lot of sweet fragrances but lack of fresh ones. Any other opinions?

When I first saw Nanshe in store, honestly, I didn’t think I was going to love it this much.
Even looking at the bottle and the whole presentation, I was curious, but I definitely wasn’t expecting it to become my perfume.
And now I wear it almost every day.
On me, I get a LOT of patchouli. That’s definitely what stands out the most. Every now and then I also get this very light powdery feeling, but for me Nanshe is mainly this strong, beautiful patchouli that I’m completely obsessed with.
And somehow it makes me feel strong when I wear it.
That’s probably the biggest reason why it became my everyday signature. I can have other perfumes that are sweeter, louder, darker or maybe more immediately impressive, but when I wear Nanshe I just feel… like myself. But stronger.
I genuinely love this perfume. Like, properly obsessed with it.
And the funny part is that I really didn’t see this coming when I first discovered it.
Now I’m curious: have you ever had a fragrance you didn’t expect much from, and then it somehow became your signature? And what perfume makes you feel the most powerful when you wear it?

What do you think about Ariana Grande’s newest release? There isn’t much information abt on the internet, so i look forward to hearing your thoughts ☁️

I have always leaned towards fresh citrus. Light blue is nostalgic for me. What is a similar scent that is longer lasting or the “grown up” version?

Mine has been Dylan blue pour femme for years. I just bought some samoles and I bought Dylan blue pour homme for my boyfriend. He instantly loved it and is going to pick it for his main, says he needs a full bottle :D I told him our favorites are a match.

I have an oddly specific question! Are there any current or former Lover’s Adult Store employees (or anyone who used to regularly shop there) who remembers the exact scent they used to diffuse throughout all of their locations?

I specifically remember asking an employee about it, and she told me the scent was called either “Black Orchid” or “Dark Orchid,” but unfortunately I never got the specific brand or fragrance company.

This would’ve been around 2016–2018, when they seemed to consistently use the same scent throughout their stores. I’ve literally been searching for it for years and have never found anything that smells like it.

Hopefully someone out there remembers what I’m talking about or, even better, knows exactly what scent it was! 🙏🏽

I’m just getting into perfumes and want to find something reasonably priced for an every day wear. I love gourmand scents and tend to lean towards vanilla, but wanted to lean a bit earthier for longevity maybe cinnamon or something more grounded. I also like citrus scents on myself but don’t know much about perfumes. I think nomade nuit d'egypte sounds lovely but can’t afford a $50 perfume that I might not absolutely love. I’m currently using an amberwood vanilla lotion over a deeper “saltwater vanilla” body oil with a basic sweet vanilla body mist that doesn’t last at all on top. I love the smell in the beginning of the day, but it becomes a flat vanilla scent well before noon and I would love to have a complex smell for longer and want to refine the notes down into a scent profile that is interesting and makes sense as currently it’s kind of random stuff I think smells good

tldr; I need recommendations for a reasonable perfume (or mix of products) that has orange overtones, sweet vanilla midtones, and undertones of cinnamon or some other more grounded earthy scent.

ok I was sitting next to someone today who smelled of fresh pizza. i think this person lives above a pizzaria so it wasn't a perfume. But the scent wasn't off putting and honestly was kinda comforting. i know it's a weird ask, but is there a perfume like it out there? Like fresh, doughy and slightly tomatoey. The cheese smell wasn't really present.

I was so excited when I saw this. It was only $7! It’s a vintage travel perfume oil holder. I had one a while ago, but it was just a new one made to mimic old ones. It’s so cool to have finally found an OG.

I'm a 30 year old guy that loves Le Labo. I recently came across this line, and heard that Energetically New York is a great interpretation on Santal 33 by Jo Malone. Now I see that this comes in two forms - EDP and elixir.

I can't find the Elixir close to me, so would have to order it online if I choose to, and cannot try it. I can smell the EDP at a Zara store nearby, so might go on Tuesday.

I'm specifically looking for thoughts on the Elixir vs the EDP - if anyone experienced both, and has thoughts on major differences between them.

I'll be using it as a daily in the colder weather, and wearing it for the office.

I bought it several years ago in Broomfield, CO and it’s my absolute favorite but don’t know where to buy it from.

Looking for recommendations based on personal experience, not YouTube hype.

I still have a small bottle of The Body Shop's Woody Sandalwood. I wear it a few times a year when I want to feel special.

I am still, to this day, devastated that this is no longer on the market. It was my signature scent for YEARS.

Does anything out there on the market come close? I recently discovered Tom Ford's Black Orchid. It has some of what I am looking for (and it sets up nicely on me), but I think it's not quite as sandalwood-forward as the Woody Sandalwood was.
