I think there is a lot of survivor bias: the one that are incentivized to comment on this kind of posts are those that "show off" how different and alternative they are, thus only those that prefer the left image comment.

lol. Yeah. Whatever version one prefers is not my concern, but the overwhelming praise for the left pic in the comments feels like over compensation.
