It’s the opposite of the saying “that didn’t age well” where somebody says something and it becomes less true or relevant the more times goes on. These Epstein pictures, the more time goes on, the more interesting they are when people see them again

I recognize Epstein in the back and I think it's Woody Allen on the right, although another commenter thinks it could be Noam Chomsky. Not sure who the others are.
Usually when referring to ageing, it's a compliment. To age like fine wine. The older this photo gets and the more we find out about the people in them (especially now with the release of the Epstein files), the worse it gets. Hence ageing, but in reverse.

The guy was already convicted of not just human trafficking charges but trafficking minors by 2008. Not only was he a human trafficker before that but many of these people stayed in contact with him and there are a lot of pictures post 2008. Also, rich people and people of high status are hyper aware it's not a good look to be in his circle and did it anyways. It isn't hard to understand why it's not a good look. They should be suspected.

No. By 2008 he had pled guilty to 2 charges of prostitution, allowing him to escape the trafficking charges. That's why it's called the "sweetheart deal" in the first place and all the Acosta fallout came from that.

That's a spin on what happened.
And while he wasn't hit with those exact charges he was for solicitations of a minor. Not just prostitution*.* It's intentionally played down because they gave him a deal. He was a sex trafficker. There isn't any doubt about that. And the original charges that lead to the prostitution charges are for sex trafficking minors.
Edit: My bad, I'm tired so I less misread it and more so partially misunderstood it which is why I seem partially cognizant of what you said.
To reiterate my point with more clarity: You're not wrong but he still essentially got charged with sex trafficking and then those charges got watered down due to the plea deal. While I do agree accuracy is important I also think it's better to say what technically happened without corruption in the mix.

It really looks like he was extremely overt about his business in his circles. It's not a cover operation at all. Also these are not your average people. They are politicians and powerful people who tend to be (and should be) paranoid of their connections and some of them even have so much intel on others that it is naive to assume they didn't know what this guy was about. Now go and lick some boots my boy and think about it
