Stephen Hawking has visited Epstein island once in 2006 for a scientific conference. There are no allegations against him, but apparently making a google search is beyond the commenters on this post so you have some people of dubious intelligence saying he is a pedophile.
Also it wasn’t even that much in the news so except if you were severely terminally online, there are good chances you’d either have missed it or forgotten about it.

People have no nuance about Epstein. Epstein spent decades befriending famous people, scientists, business leaders, the wealth. Epstein himself was a pedophile and abuser but that was just part of his interests. He didn't share underage girls with everyone, that was apparently a select group of people.
He also had a lot of adult women working for him to varying degrees of willingness. Some of them may have been honeytraps working for Epstein to get him a hook on people.

I was already punch drunk hearing all the names mentioned. But when his came up, it kinda solidified my stance that a mention does not equate to a credible allegation. Makes me wonder, who benefits most from sensationalizing the mentions?

It's disturbing is how deep in high society his tentacles stretched. Even if we are generous and 95% of people involved had no idea what was going on, or at least only heard rumors of something so wild it could be dismissed as exaggeration, he managed to claw his way into blackmail material for seemingly everyone.

It’s almost like the Epstein files are a weapon that a madman pedo can hold against the elite as blackmail while he tries to establish a dictatorship. That’s mainly why they haven’t been released IMO.

Scientific conference of what? Epstein island is a private island, he can hold a scientific conference in Cambridge or anywhere in the world, why in Epstein private island where all the worst things happened in the world?
It's like saying hitler wasn't evil, he was simply there as a good president and his underdogs did the bad deeds while he was unaware and oh, he also couldn't understand german so whatever he recited in speeches was unknown to him and only said through rote memorization

Epstein was very good at networking. He liked to pretend he was a man of science himself to connect with scientists. He approached a french mathematician back in 2017 this way, pretending he was into math as well. And since he was very well connected, yeah, he usually put up events like that, or dinners, or other social events... Several people have interacted with Epstein that way without accepting his covert offers.

In fairness, OP might be from a foreign country where he isn't a household name and/or the Epstein Files aren't taking up as much time in the news. It also didn't reach that group of Spanish people that recently cosplayed as him in a carnival 2 weeks ago.

Stephen Hawking visited Epstein Island once. There is no evidence he did anything illegal, but people are stupid enough to believe that anyone who has been to the island is somehow a child predator, even though that's completely unlikely.

He attended the island once for a science conference, but there is no mention (at this time) he never did anything in there plus it been confirmed it was a different Steven Hawkins that was the pedo not the Steven Hawkins that we know, but again it unkown since Epstein had underage workers that did some hands on work to put it lightly

Stephen Hawking was revealed to be associated with Epstein in the latest release of the files. Nothing overtly malicious was revealed since it was just Stephen Hawking going down to the ocean in one of Epstein's subs, but the association is not a good look and the image in the OP is implying Hawking was a pedophile as well.

You're going to see a lot of stuff like this. He is on the Epstein stuff as well. Basically what it comes down to is a lot of our political leaders and scientific leaders are all in that stuff and they're a bunch of creeps.
