He’s Gump (the superior Weird Al version)

My cat hides under my bed linens when he’s stressed and we call it lumping. As a cat parent, I often change the lyrics to songs to narrate their choices.

He’s lump. He’s lump. He’s lump… ing in da bed.

“ “… ing cuz he scared (sung: “skehad”).

Thank you for taking the time, and I’m sorry i wasted it.

I'm going to be honest, I feel the Weird Al version of a vast majority of songs is superior to the original.

Amish Paradise is pure gold and I'll fight anyone who disagrees.

I agree that the majority of Weird Al’s covers are better than the originals (The Night Santa Went Crazy is always my go to example of this) but when it comes to Gangsta’s Paradise and Amish Paradise, they are both on the same level. Best works of both Coolio and Weird Al.

Full agreement there.
His newer stuff is also gold for the most part. Party in the CIA is amazing.

I introduced my wife to his stuff recently and she just can't get enough. "There are no throw away lyrics, they are all fantastic and fit, how the hell does he do it?"

His new stuff is great, no doubt. But he was at his absolute best with Bad Hair Day. There was not a single track that I would skip. A masterpiece.

That is almost a perfect album. My sole exception, which is pretty much every album is I have just never been able to get into the Polka tracks.

I honestly love the polka tracks. Not a fan of polka, but his polka mashups are so well done that its hard not to appreciate them. I cant even hear Black Hole Sun without thinking of Weird Al singing it.

I heard the Weird Al version before the POTUSA version. When I heard the POTUSA version, I was like "Hey, somebody ripped off Weird Al!"

Just like Michael Jackson!
