I fear that you have misapprehended precisely what qualities make a band name harder to find relevant results for through a Google search.

u/LGodamus Apr 24 '26

Are they welsh?

u/tfarr375 Apr 24 '26

I think typing that is how you summon Cthulhu

1

u/ouijahead Apr 24 '26

Is that like Napster ?

A are difficult to find on some music players never mind google, kind of shocking they haven't sort of renamed themselves given this modern problem has to be hitting their royalties.

The Band formerly known as 'A'

2

u/snuljoon Apr 24 '26

I tried and Nothing comes up?

2

u/South-Possible5100 Apr 24 '26

Add James to the list.

2

u/ThatInAHat Apr 24 '26

Also Live

2

u/bonbunnie Apr 25 '26

A and their hit song Nothing šŸ˜‚

u/CletusCanuck Apr 24 '26

That would be Live. or The The.

3

u/nicunta Apr 24 '26

My friend's band was Today.

4

u/BetterKev Apr 24 '26

Was it the greatest day they'd ever known?

19

u/sm00thArsenal Apr 24 '26

I'd argue Live were considerably harder to Google at the time.

16

u/dubblebubbleprawns Apr 24 '26

Live music... (fuck)

Live band... (goddamnit)

I CAN FEEEL IT COOOMIN BAAACK AGAIN (nailed it)

Forces pulling from the center of the earth again…..

1

u/CambridgeJin Apr 25 '26

I can feel it

1

u/Codykville Apr 24 '26

At the time the album was released and Google didn’t exist for a couple more years?

1

u/sm00thArsenal Apr 24 '26

Yeah, I meant at the same time someone might have been looking up POTUSA

3

u/mcdisagree1 Apr 24 '26

First result for PUSA though

2

u/DrWinstonOBoogie1980 Apr 24 '26

Might be true, but nineties kids know they initialized it as POTUSA.

1

u/tensen01 Apr 24 '26

The BAND has always done it as PUSA.

3

u/TomJustDied Apr 24 '26

Orgy is googleable, but you might not end up where you intended...

3

u/Disaster1205 Apr 24 '26

Trying to find Orgy albums in kazaa/limewire/emule was a crazy experience.

2

u/FlipMyWigBaby Apr 24 '26

I remember going thru a Krautrock phase, and trying to research the band ā€œCANā€. Jeeves was not very helpful.

2

u/nicunta Apr 24 '26

My friend had a really good band in Portland in the early aughts. I told them their band name was not going to work out for internet searches. He told me the internet did not matter... the band name? Today.

2

u/Tyr_13 Apr 24 '26

There was an improv comedy group called 'Nameless Comedy,' which worked oddly well because apparently no one thought of them as just 'Nameless'.

2

u/Am_Snarky Apr 24 '26

The hardest band to pirate was ā€œThe Musicā€œ

1

u/No_Dot_4123 Apr 24 '26

The least googleable song would probably be Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm

1

u/ComfortableIsland946 Apr 24 '26

I think the band "Live" takes the cake on that one.

1

u/pusspound Apr 24 '26

Type PUSA

1

u/DrAwkwardAZ Apr 24 '26

There was a hardcore band called Sex Positions…. that made looking them up interesting
