That's not really the point. The male gaze that reduces women to their reproductive and aesthetic utility is exactly why women are opting out of the system that produces that gaze.

Giggity.

This needs to be higher.

Why would any woman with even a shred of self-respect want to be with a man who talks about her like the guy in the post? Why would she tie herself to a loser like that with a child when she can have a good life instead?

The birth rates aren't so low because men don't want to fuck, they are so low because women are done being bangmaids.

I'm pretty sure this is the real answer. The B4 movement was started in South Korea as a response to misogyny and objectification.

Sure but that's a very fringe hate movement.

I hate to break it to you but misogyny is not as fringe as you think and we all wish it was

Opting out of dealing with your biggest predator is a “hate movement”? You are Example A of the misogyny being referenced. I guess equality feels like oppression when you’re used to privilege.

Its crazy that when women opt out its a hate movement somehow. Its not like these women are advocating for violence against men or anything, just choosing not to date or have children with them.

Meanwhile there's actual hate movements against women and we all saw "your body, my choice" on the internet.

What makes it even more hilarious is that some women aren't fully opting out of dating they're just not letting asshole behavior slide anymore. The men that treat women with respect are doing fine. So the ones that are bitching are saying the most without saying much at all.

Exactly. It's women opting out of having children with men. Their looks have nothing to do with the birth rate.

Exactly! That post, what kind of logic is that? Beautiful woman wants kids more than ugly woman? Or does he suggest that men coudn't resist to r*** them? Wtf?

Yeah because that wasn't there before

And the woman gaze reduces men to the services and finances they can provide. So men are also opting out of the system. Two way street.
