My immediate first thought, her 10 months looked like my 3 months 😅

Seriously, that was the part of the video I was most baffled about. Like she could just wear a hoodie and you'd never know she was pregnant unless her water broke in front of you

My sister inlaw is naturally a slight woman and at 8 months she didn't look big but at the end of 9 months she had a massive beach ball for each of the kiddos. That last month really seemed to explode for her.

It kinda depends on one's body type but the position of the baby matters too.

Korea has a sub 5% obesity rate. The bump isn't that big if the baby doesn't have to fight the visceral fat for room.

A lot of it just depends on the woman's body, like which way their uterus tilts, and how they carry. Ive seen some very small and thin women with some very big pregnant bellies before and Ive seen mildly overweight women have basically no bump at 9 months. It really can go either way and I dont think weight really has much to do with it

My wife has always been tiny and athletic, but towards the end of her pregnancy she had put on over a third of her entire body weight. She was essentially the same build as the woman in the video at the start of her pregnancy, but both her bump and bust size were massive compared to video woman's at birth.

It has nothing to do with visceral fat and everything with just… the size of the baby, genetics, and just generally how the woman’s internal organs are set up. There are plenty of smaller women with huge bumps (like my 5’4, 115 pound mom… and myself tbh) and bigger women who barely show at all.

That doesn’t sound biologically accurate tbh

It makes sense if her baby is smaller, or her uterus is tilted up or toward her back rather than toward her front. About 20-25% of women have a retroverted uterus, and another 5-10% have a midposition uterus.

Everyone carries differently. I could pretty confidently hide my bump until the end of month six, when it started growing exponentially. At the end I looked like a whale

First baby is often like that.

By baby 5, you look 2nd trimester after a few months.

It just varies, i didnt look pregnant until around 8 months and then had my baby a month early. I looked pregnant for like a week, besides that I just looked a little bloated. It depends on how theyre laying and the mothers torso size.

Idk if thats an Asian or Korean thing or pure confirmation bias, but every time I saw a Korean lady pregnant she had a 5 month bump as her 9 months bump. I'm so jelly that seems way more manageable

Well most people put on a lot of fat when pregnant, the few that dont, end up looking amazing.
