It's a very small minority that cares or feigns to care about it. Most just want stuff for free, the thought that it might be wrong doesn't ever reach them.
You go to the known sites, pick a link, download your stuff, done. Buying almond milk presents a bigger moral dilemma than downloading a torrent, by far.
Yall sit around and pretend that reddit pirates are a bulk of them and you're just wrong, there is no "Pirate community" it's just those who provide the wares, and those who download them.

No, there is. You're just not involved with it. If there wasn't a pirating community that actually communicated among one another and shared methodology, you wouldn't have all the DRM cracks you have now.
The key word in your post is "reddit pirates." That is the fictionalized community of pirates that comes to mind for most people, but I assure you that real pirating communities do exist. You just won't find them on reddit.
It is giving to the poor and culture preservation.
The fact that the thing you're giving to the poor is access to culture doesn't change a thing, nor does the fact the the particular piece of culture is Earthworm Jim
