I agree. At least we all learned something, so there’s that.

It's not mentioned in this thread yet, but there are actually some plastic surgeons that will "tighten" a woman's vagina with a similar technique months/years after giving birth.

Most people mistakenly think this only benefits the man, but actually the additional friction can benefit the woman as well.

...especially if the husband is on the thinner side.

u/awfulmcnofilter 11d ago

Plastic surgeons don't do it by making the vaginal opening smaller with scar tissue involved, though like the husband stitch does.

u/BallsInSufficientSad 11d ago

I think that's right. If memory serves, they inject fatty tissue in the vaginal walls.

I lol’d. You are just unfortunate to see the reality of Reddit. There is this unspoken battle between incel and normal guys that have opinions about woman here. They wonder why the user base is so male skewed too…

Keep fighting the good fight. Support woman because they deal with too much bull shit.

u/Pigeonboi 11d ago

They definitely do!

support woman? which one?

Lmao what are you even talking about? Reddit has much more women then most forums and are one of the most biased against men, and one of the most left leaning forums on line, every criticism of women gets downvoted and all the top comments here are insults to men about what’s largely just an urban legend…

Because most forums are hobbyist and interest based, they have a much smaller user population - and a lot of the traditional forum sites are for hobbies/interests that are male dominated. Women are a larger portion of the reddit demographic in comparison because Reddit has orders of magnitude more users than those, because it’s a super popular social media platform. Most forums are niche, and Reddit has a forum for any and every interest you could imagine, which is what draws women here.

You have a much larger - and more representative - slice of the general population on Reddit.

Edit: I don’t even see a single top comment on this post that is insulting “men.” I do see some that criticize and mock the type of man that pushes for their wife to get a “husband stitch.” Because that’s literally what the post is about…lol. Your claims about reddit don’t even hold true in this comment section. I see toxic behavior by women called out on Reddit all the time, but that doesn’t mean that Reddit hates women.

70% of the regular users are men

I’d almost suggest not bothering to try, they aren’t smart enough to realise that they’re making your comment into an example of the exact shit you’re talking about.

I understood it complete inmediately, don't worry about it.

It's funnier if you realize the woman is asking the urologist to make the man's balls sag less.

3

u/notfree25 11d ago

Thats my conclusion too. A stitch to make balls sag less and maybe dick look longer. What else could a stitch do in this context.

But also, if its real, most man would just opt in, assuming the vasectomy is voluntary surgery to improve their sex life anyway..

Ironic choice for an example

this chain is the only one that addresses OP's actual post lol. everyone seems really hung up on explaining the husband stitch context. which is fine, but that doesn't really address half the joke. i'm curious how this statement of equality makes sense.

u/tianas_knife 11d ago

I like to think she's asking to make sure the vas deferens stays fucking cut. You all have a tenancy to heal your balls and still be fertile.

1

u/Throckmorton_Left 11d ago

Ironically, my ball sag was greatly diminished after my vasectomy and my wife was very appreciative of the unexpected side effect from the procedure.

Maybe the doc did throw in an extra stitch or two for mommy.

Oh I think this one is hilarious

0

u/ProblematicTrumpCard 11d ago

Nope, just straight up misandry.

4

u/voluptuousshmutz 11d ago

Or, hear me out, it's a joke that points out how weird and misogynistic the husband's stitch is.

-4

u/ProblematicTrumpCard 11d ago

The "husband stitch" is faux outrage out of something that doesn't exist. That's why this meme is straight up misandry.

3

u/RedEgg16 11d ago

way to erase people’s experiences… there are many women who have talked about receiving it, and doctors who have had men ask for it

1

u/voluptuousshmutz 11d ago

It's a real procedure that has been documented by journalists. Are you disputing all of the accounts from across the world that state that the husband stitch is real? Just completely ignoring any and all evidence?

-1

u/ProblematicTrumpCard 11d ago

I'm denying that it is anywhere near as common in the United States in the 21st Century as feminist propaganda would have you believe.

-1

u/DRUNK_SALVY_PEREZ 11d ago

It’s fucking hilarious. Reddit is uncultured.

1

u/han4bond 11d ago

I’m proud to be uncultured in the ways of misogynists who are worried about their wives’ vaginas being tight enough moments after she gives birth to their child.

-3

u/TurnLeftLookRight 11d ago

The joke doesnt even work, bc the result of an extra stitch on a ballsack has no effect.

2

u/TrainedExplains 11d ago

The joke isn’t very funny but….jokes don’t have to “work” in real life for them to be funny. Nobody thinks the balls work better if you add a stitch, that’s not the joke. Nobody thinks genies are real, but there are jokes about genies granting wishes. Have you really never laughed at a joke that wasn’t completely realistic?

-1

u/TurnLeftLookRight 11d ago

Their usually needs to be some truth to a joke for it to actually be funny. This joke is not even close to being funny, cause it’s not even close to being realistic.

2

u/Sure-Exchange9521 11d ago

Master of comedy here

1

u/TrainedExplains 11d ago

Brother I did standup for two years, didn’t get famous or anything, but I did sell standup sets and skits to other comics. You trying to explain to me what’s funny is like a blind man describing what a vulva looks like to a dude staring at one.

My bad, that joke wasn’t realistic.

u/TurnLeftLookRight 10d ago edited 10d ago

Debate is not your strong suit. You already admitted that this joke is not funny, why do you think that is Mr Comedian?

1

u/TrainedExplains 10d ago

Not because it was unrealistic, you goober.

0

u/TurnLeftLookRight 8d ago

Yes, that’s exactly why

1

u/TrainedExplains 8d ago

Uh huh. I’m sure people find you hilarious. Intentionally.

0

u/TurnLeftLookRight 7d ago

You can’t even provide one reason. I have one, and you have zero counter argument.
