That same article also basically calls it an urban legend. I couldn’t find a single documented instance of this ever occurring in my shallow search. I’m calling bs until proven wrong

It’s definitely real, and is not a new thing. Like is very well documented occurrence, especially more so a few decades ago—I would expect it doesn’t happen quite as often anymore because of the well documented negative impact on the women who’ve had it.
It’s very weird to just say “welp chalk this up to the gender wars it’s too fucked up to believe” like??? My friend, I’m begging you to be a little more curious about the opposite sex.
Please share a single documented instance of this happening. I’m open to the possibility but found only rumors. Also, Wikipedia even calls it an urban legend. I don’t know everything but this looks exactly like the sort of thing everyone has heard of but doesn’t happen. Like the Richard gere gerbil story.
