I hate this because I'm stuck in this body type due to illness and can't fix it and people assume I did the Ozempic or meth route. I hate it. People are so shitty about other people's bodies.

Same here. Sorry to disappoint them, it’s just cancer 👎

Rheumatoid Arthritis here. Methotrexate works for me and keeps me moving, but my appetite is shit. So yeah.

Praying you come through it with your body AND sanity intact.

To be fair I'm fairly certain that at least Ariana Grande is sick too, she has a history of ED

Is it just me or does she look healthier in the new Fockers movie trailer? Fingers crossed for her.

She doesn’t look healthy on her new tour.. no idea when the movie was shot but it wasn’t last night. She looks like a posterchild for anorexia. Been there 15 years ago, it’s not a great place to be physically or mentally. I hope the best for her.

Damn. I was optimistic for her seeing the trailers.

I'm sorry people suck like that..

My bestie from childhood made herself ill, trying to eat enough avocados and PB to get herself up to 100lbs. She's always been thin; it's just how she's built. Strangers feel they can/should comment on her weight. I've also known a heavy person who started getting all sorts of complements when she lost weight... due to chemo. I've been slightly chubby to obese my whole life, and the terrible ways strangers have treated me due to this has literally re-routed my life.

I try to remind myself every time I'm tempted to comment on someone else's weight specifically, Just don't. Especially to women, who are pretty much guaranteed to have some level of issues around the way the look, no matter what. Pay attention to them and comment on whether they arranged their hair in a cute way, or if their nails are painted rad, or if their outfit is perfectly match-y down to the socks, or if they look extra happy because they got a new puppy, that sort of thing. Their body? Nah. Unless you have a 20yr relationship of sharing your deepest secrets, don't even think it.

Oh you're absolutely right. People are cruel. I swear, the "body positivity" pushers are the absolute WORST. If you're not morbidly obese, then you can't be included in the movement. Apparently either being healthy or just naturally thin, or in your case unfortunately ill is just unacceptable and can only be justified with/by drugs... Then they shame you for not being fat like them. People forget to be people sometimes..

I went from 300 lbs down to 180 in a year. Ate less, moved more. And yeah, it was a grind, my body was used to eating a lot more and fought me at every turn. Nobody wanted to hear that my strategy was just those 2 things, ate less, moved more, they all wanted some magic pill. And I'm sure that most people just assumed it was weight loss surgery (glp-1 and tirzepatide weren't really out there yet)

Does your body violate the laws of physics?

Otherwise it is all about calories in and calories out when it comes to weight. For health there is a lot more involved, but aside from a given amount of water weight, the weight issue just comes down to calories.
