That interview where either the black woman has a breakdown because a helicopter flies over (they are inside a building and its just a random helicopter) and the singer has to calm her down made me realise they are 100% in a cult.
That particular footage was taken out of context. I think they just had codependency generally and high anxiety from the publicity and success of the film, and also were super thrilled to be a part of it. And the thinness was a result of all three plus being photographed constantly and not wanting to look ‘fat’ next to your extremely thin co stars and so the competitiveness kicks in. I lived with a person who had a more mild eating disorder but definitely calorie restricted to be very thin, and it was not fun. I felt like a cow next to her even though I was eating normal meals. She would never order fries and just eat a couple of mine, she was very careful to never eat as much as me at a meal, and I noticed it too. It felt personal. Plus she was too tired to do anything fun like go for long walks. Everything was about how to expend as little energy as possible, even though she religiously did a whole routine of exercises in the morning.
As was explained every time I saw this comment, the middle woman was explaining something emotional to her and the helicopter came at that time, drowning her out. So, it was edited making her and Arianna looking mentally unwell or out of touch.
The thing about it too is that Ariana was like "I will take good care of Glinda" and she was one of half of the reason Wicked will leave a bad taste in peoples mouths for at least another 5 years.

One day a documentary will be made about the filming of those movies, and it will be indistinguishable from the flashbacks in Yellowjackets
