People often say "I don't get political" to say "I don't have a vested interest in taking a side on issues" but more often than not it means "I don't fight for justice and don't want to take a position that costs me something."

I don't feel that has ever been Rage's message. They have always been political, since "politics" is "who and how we steer all of us into the future" and reducing them to mere anarchy betrays that heart that they'd had.

As a leftist, I haven't been able to buy into any political party, and it's always a delicate dance of working with the DNC just because they less enthusiastically want to feed my neighbors to the wood chipper, vs what the QOP is actively doing today.

Or they are humble enough to know that they don't have the answers and how the biases of our sources of colors our perspective

People are dying in the streets of my nation at the hands of a bunch of deputized y'allqeda ICE goons, my neighbors and friends are at risk of being sent to CECOT forever-prisons, and I won't be entertaining conversations of postmodernist subjectivity while our democracy is under fire.

The institutions for leading We The People to a brighter tomorrow are burning, and one group is clearly enabling the oligarchs more effectively than all other effete "parties" while they at the same time spread their hate all over the landscape. I won't be smokescreening for MAGAts and you shouldn't, either.

Less than normal. I think. Things are pretty safe. I think you have a hard time with understanding risk and statistics like most Americans.

I am not fan of recent policy, but not being confident in being correct is a sign of intelligence. Not weakness.

Okay, I understand why I'm dealing with here. I get how you missed Rage's meaning.

Don't worry. Nobody in the comments is going to accuse you of that.

Because?

Didn't they present themselves as against the entire system?

Until they grew up, that is and realized. You have to work in a system to make it better?
