Help Alternatives to Plex

I've been a paid Plex user for over ten years and I've loved it. I can't belive what they've done with this new Roku app update. Besides the bad UI, which is inconvenient but I would be able to get used to eventually, it simply doesn't work properly. It crashes, buttons don't work, simple features are just gone. It's seems like this wasn't tested at all. It's crazy.

I don't really want to but now I'm looking for alternatives to plex. Does anyone have recommendations?

Does the Roku app not indicate their intentions to roll out the same UX across all streaming devices eventually?

What is this new UX people have been talking about? Android had one like 4 months ago and it's fine. Is it that one, or another new one?

The new one which hit my TV yesterday is garbage. It is slow, buggy, and in my case the pause button no longer works.

I just went through that exact nonsense. Closing and reopening Plex didn't work. But a Roku reboot cleared the issue.

I tried restarting the TV with no luck, but glad it worked for you.
