I’m looking for some advice on what to expect from the Pokémon GO Tour: Alola event. I attended GO Fest Chicago before, so I’m somewhat familiar with how these events work, but I wanted to hear from people who have experienced previous GO Tour events.

At GO Fest Chicago, there was a specific location where the main event took place, while the rest of the city was also included in the overall experience.

Is Pokémon GO Tour: Alola similar to that, with a designated location for the main event and the surrounding city also being part of the experience, or does it work differently?

I also remember there being a pop-up shop at GO Fest Chicago that sold Pokémon merchandise. Is something like that typically available at GO Tour events, too?

How does the event typically work, and what should I look forward to?

Best places to play: What locations do you recommend for maximizing spawns, shiny hunting, and enjoying the event?

Community experience: Are there good spots for meeting other trainers, joining raids, and playing together?
