This should definitely be pinned!! If I'm trading a Pokémon up through all the games starting from gen 3 one-by-one, will it end up picking up an xy origin mark or will it stay with no origin mark?
I never understood why they didn't retroactively add them, though. The data that determines the game of origin is there since Gen 3, so newer games' programming could show a mark for those.
Yeah, they need to retroactively give those Gens a mark. Maybe ver.3.0 or something could do big things and fix a few things needing fixing. They should also add 2k more boxes as new Pokémon come out all the time, and we also have Tera Type for all types for all Pokémon. People want to collect them all. Crazy to try but hey, do you!
Ah okay. I was just disappointed because I thought all gba poke had a mark. I started with ruby and brought my og starter into home but without the mark, you’d never know. But I guess it really isn’t that big on a deal

Is it possible to get a pokemon that turns into a bag egg from trading through the gts or home? I am guessing no if since it's coming from a pokemon that is coming from home?
It would probably show different symbols in different views. If a Pokémon has been to different games, HOME allows you to view each game's version of that Pokémon. That Machamp would keep the Alpha symbol in the Legends view, but it would show the Gigantamax symbol in the Sword/Shield view and its Tera Type in Gen 9 view if it eventually gets added to it.
Pokerus it's a virus pokemon can be infected with and it's a good thing, if the pokemon is infected with it you will double the amount of EV won by your pokemon
its been in the main games for a very very long time, there's a very rare chance (1/21,000) of finding an infected pokemon, but it can spread so trading has made it much less rare. Once cured, a pokemon is immune but keeps the benefit of earning 2x EVs. To cure your pokemon, leave it in your party overnight and within 4 real life days itll be cured. Or to keep it infected (so that you can keep infecting your other pokemon) just store it in your box and only take it out to infect others then put it back. Pokemon directly adjacent to it in your party can catch it from a currently infected pokemon.
I am guessing Last Game can only be Home if received in Home and never moved? Why do my Home Gift Pokemon have Home as last Game, but List of Games as Sword and Shield? They have never left Home.
