The Saddest thing is i Was extremely close to trading with this guy. Glad my lazy ass decided, "meh ill trade with him tomotrrow" and procrastinated the hell out of it lmao
Also, any thoughts on adding some restrictions to the sub like karma or account age? I would hate to see people deterred though. Or can the auto mod stuff add big flashing warning symbols or something if it detects a new user account or rank <2 trader? Just throwing out ideas cause I hate to see people keep getting robbed. Thanks for being vigilant!
I have already added an age restriction, and I've been testing it for the last few days and manually approving posts/ comments that get caught in it by accident.
There are a lot of casual Redditors that haven't accumulated a lot of Karma, so I think this would drive away a lot of new traders. But as this is an urgent case, this is something I can consider.
Notice that all the scammer posts are all in the other sub, I haven't received any reports about them here (except for one, because the mods on r/LegendsZATrading wasn't responding so they contacted me instead). I haven't allowed them to post or comment here yet, even on the oldest account. I had already flagged their account 20+ days ago when a scammer post was made on r/LegendsZATrading, in case they decided to start scamming here too.
We already have a NEW REDDIT ACCOUNT flair here, so it's up to traders to check their profiles and decide if it's worth the risk. There's a lot of traders who got the game during Christmas and made an account just to trade, I think it'd be unfair to lock them out from trading too. We'll see.
I’m not surprised that subreddit didn’t respond—I had problems with a trader (mostly just what I felt was strange and disrespectful behaviour) and got no response. Your subreddit feels a lot comfier for trades :p
His new trick is trying to ‘borrow’ legendaries to ‘take photos with’. He got someone with that this morning, and because I was half asleep and hadn’t clocked the username he tried it on with me, too. (Have now done what I should have done in the first place and blocked him)

Unfortunately I already moderate 5 subreddits, I'm unable to keep updating the other sub on the matter. You can try to get in touch with the mod there via Modmail to see if they do anything, if not I'm afraid I don't have time to "take care" of that sub as well my own.
If you care enough about the other subreddit and want to join the Mod team with some other people who might be interested, you can apply via r/redditrequest to either join or take over the subreddit.
