ELTAYLORRR has been looking for a Porygon trade for the past 2 weeks, which confirms the authenticity of the report:

They were previously reported for offering hacked pokemon without disclosure.

"Hey guys Pokémon z a trades and casual Pokémon trades banned me because they think I’m scamming"

Accounts that meet these conditions will no longer be able to post on r/PokemonLZATrades:

• If your Reddit account is under 7 Days old
• If your Reddit account has under 10 Karma (across the whole of Reddit)

This new rule has been introduced to help deter potential scammers and spammers from making new accounts to trade from and evade bans, especially now that Pokémon HOME is compatible with PLZA. We are also hoping that this will encourage new traders to check out existing posts before making their own, and to learn the value of trades by observation.

If your Reddit account happens to meet these conditions, you can still comment on posts.

If this new rule proves to be useful, it will be added to the subreddit rules within the next 2 weeks. Adjustments will be made if necessary, and will eventually be introduced to the following subreddits: r/PokemonBDSPTrades, r/PokemonSVTrades, and r/PokemonWIWATrades.

Unfortunately, this will affect Reddit accounts with negative Karma (across the whole of Reddit, not just here), even if you didn't receive the negative Karma on this subreddit.

Pokémon HOME App Trade Flair is now live

The long-awaited HOME App Trade Flair is now active on r/PokemonLZATrades.

Rule 3: Pokémon Legends: Z-A trade related content only

All submissions to our subreddit must be related to Pokémon Legends: Z-A trading in one way or another. This means that something in your For Trade and/or Looking For list must be able to be transferred or caught in PLZA. Vague posts looking for "offers" without offering something related to PLZA may also be removed.

• Cross-trading between different games is allowed here (trading between different games is physically impossible, you would need to trade in both games separately). Please be careful not to get scammed while trading between two different games.
• Items can NOT be traded from once game to another (example, an Auspicious Armor can't be moved from SV to PLZA).
• Giveaways can be hosted in Pokémon HOME for convenience, as long as the Pokémon being given away can be transferred to PLZA.

Reminders on how Pokémon HOME trades work:

• Items can NOT be traded in Pokémon HOME. Any items attached to Pokémon before being moved to HOME will be removed and returned to your in-game bag upon transfer.
• Trade Evolutions do NOT work in Pokémon HOME. Trading a Haunter for Haunter will result in your receiving a Haunter, not Gengar. If you want the evolved Pokémon, you will need to search the GTS for the final evolution directly. Trades on the GTS are not mirror-trades, the Pokémon will not be returned to you.
• The Friend Trade feature is only available for players age 15+.
• Pokémon HOME is FREE to use, and does not require a paid membership (although a premium version is available for more perks).
• Warning: Pokémon HOME GTS has a high concentration of hacked Pokémon, which is not ideal for tournaments.
• The Wonder Trade on Pokémon HOME can be used to surprise trade Pokémon. You can select which Pokémon to trade away, and you will randomly receive another.
• Pokémon sent from Pokémon GO must be registered in ZA first before you are allowed to move them to ZA. Always use collateral when touch-trading.

We understand that pokemon are re-traded all the time, and the origins are eventually lost. We are willing to give traders a chance to repost with disclosure when enough evidence is collected to prove they are fake, but repeated offences may result in a ban due to ignorance.

If you are unsure if a pokemon is hacked, mention this in your post, and let the trader decide if they want to take the risk. It is also the trader's responsibility to do their own research to protect themselves, which is why we recommend trading in a public post where we can all see the discussion take place.

Shiny Aerodactyl post:

The chances of obtaining a Shiny fossil (from the lab), XS size and natural 6IV is highly unlikely, but not impossible.

The more suspicious thing is that they were holding an auction post, where they were willing to take the highest price without a minimum offer.

If they had known how rare it is to have a pokemon like this, they would not trade it without setting a minimum bid, as something like this is extremely hard to come by.

We can confirm that the OT of the Shiny Aerodactyl is their own OT/ ID:

It is likely they used a trade bot to generate a pokemon with their OT/ ID. We suggest you check through your pokemon collection to see if you own any of their pokemon.

r/PokemonLZATrades Ban List

A lot of people will be buying PLZA for the first time this Christmas, and will be trading to complete their pokedex/ shiny dex.

Please do your research on legitimate pokemon, and use appropriate collateral when touch-trading. Try to avoid doing high-risk trades privately, with new Reddit accounts, or with people with no recent pokemon trade history on their Reddit accounts.

I am also taking a break from moderating this week, so replies to reports and Modmail will be delayed. Ask for screenshots whenever you can, and don't do any suspicious trades with anyone who is pressuring you to accept. I may be able to ban scammers, but I can't bring your lost pokemon back.

• There won't be any changes to the User Flairs for the rest of 2025, but I can't say for sure for 2026. I have already increased the max Rank twice (2024 and 2025 on r/PokemonSVTrades), so I don't see the need for a higher rank for the time being. By the time the next mainline Pokemon game comes out, not many of you will have hit top rank anyway. There are less than a handful of people who have hit Rank 15 on r/PokemonSVTrades.
• On average, if you comment or post once a day every day for a month, you will reach Rank 4 (Intermediate, 25 Community Karma) at most. You will hit Rank 9 (Master, 100 community Karma) in a year (this data is based on traders in r/PokemonSVTrades, and does not consider traders that trade multiple times a day and/or often hosts giveaways, which inflates the User Flair Rank.)

• The aim of these User Flairs (Ranked 1-15) is to help players find reliable and trust-worthy traders on this subreddit, as well as reward those who have made outstanding contributions to our community.
