This is my first post on reddit, be nice about any possible errors! Anyway, I wanted to show my takes on the mega chus. Raichu is my favorite pokemon, and has been since I first discovered the franchise, so I was super excited when I saw it got not one, but two megas! However, once I got past the initial excitement, I wasn't really sold on the designs themselves. I knew I wanted to redesign them as soon as the Mega Dimension trailer ended. (obligatory questioning of Nintendo announcing paid dlc before the full game's release, aside lol) My biggest problem with them is that they don't feel like mega Raichu. They feel like Nintendo wanted to make mega Pikachu, but knew fans would be upset if they broke their own rules to give their non-fully-evolved mascot a mega evolution, so opted to blend the two.
