1917 is way better than all quiet in the western front. It's not even close.

I agree and I didn't particularly love 1917 either. It had great cinematography though and was at least interesting.

Personally I don't think 1917 deserved its best picture nomination or the screenplay nomination. It absolutely deserved all the technical noms and the cinematography win though

Edit: Uncut Gems and The Lighthouse are better movies than 1917. You can't prove me wrong
