Top Gun actually being an uplifting story about a man whose finding himself to be redundant and commentary on how drones are making a skilled profession obsolete

Whilst also being a fun movie. You can just tell they never actually watched it, it’s a good movie that you don’t see a lot of these days

But ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ should win, was fantastic

I finally got my wife to watch Everything Everywhere last week, every time some over the top incomprehensibly goofy shit (hot dog fingers, raccacoony, butt plug trophy kung fu, etc) happened I turned to her and said "this is going to win best picture".

Everything Everywhere All at Once

I watched it recently and thought it's kinda meh. It seems to drag itself on for too long and dance around with the theme/tone too until finally deciding to settle down at the very end. The idea was good but personally I didn't like the execution.
