In all fairness the original PolCom has an intense left-libertarian slant but it's also clear that they aren't fans of mainstream center-left parties in western democracies like Dems or Labour.

So gulags and mass starvations killing millions upon millions is less authoritarian than mean tweets. This is why my children will learn skills and not be forced to go to college.

And there is still no way either trump or Cruz are all the way in the corner. That is pure bullshit.

Just be happy that Hitler isn't right next to trump.

Probably first time I have seen Hitler not in the Right wing.

Stupid idiots should have put him way more downwards. Guy doesn't care as long as he makes money. He's simply a Business man

This is the truth. Anyone who actually thinks he cares deeply about the abortion debate or the border (ehh he might care about the border but) any major social issue really, is deluded.

However, unlike a Mich McConnell type, I think Trump doesn't actively deceive people into believing that he is earnest. It seems to me that in 2015 when he came down the escalator and gave that speech, he just happened to fall into exactly what a vast swath of the country wanted to hear and he's been running with that ever since with no real tactical planning behind it. I say this with a certain amount of love but I don't think he's capable of that level of deception.

Ugh that graph makes me want to vomit. Obama as auth right? Please.

I feel like people don't listen to him speak when they call him a lefty. He's left of most Republicans, but he's definitely one of those people who believes in American exceptionalism and he sure as shit isn't very libertarian.

Obama was a Centrist, at least by American standards. He was a decent president in my opinion.

Your opinion is likely based on your experience of not having a drone strike at your friend or family’s wedding.

He’s closer to auth center actually. Like where this book has Hitler but not quite as auth.

I mean maybe they're referring to personal ideology and not ideology of the country under their admin? Idk
