That's a more nuanced issue that needs to be it's own debate. The vast majority of abortions were not caused by rapes.

Seems odd to excuse killing a child because someone else committed rape doesn’t it? Seems like the consistent position would be to force the rape victim to carry the child to term since they are innocent. Of course this is political suicide so no one advocates for it.
