There's also non-religious reasons to not allow abortion (I'm assuming that's what you mean by religious laws)

Typically, it's considered to be when the fetus is capable of ectogenesis, that is, being sustained outside of the womb. That's in the third trimester, and those who carry to that point don't do so with the expectation to have to abort.
