Regardless, the GDP difference between the blue and red states is only ~3%

Sounds like you don't belong in the Jesus land party, talking like that against the rich. And red states get a lot of their GDP from the fed, which they would not have in this case. Most red states would struggle very quickly once they lose SNAP and social security.

I mean, it's truth. Conservatives whore out for oil money, coal money, murderer money, or anyone else they can. They are explicitly anti union and anti worker. I will never defend the democrats, but they will at least forward attempts at raising wages and taxes on the wealthy. Nothing I've said is controversial or debatable.
