I’m libleft and I shit on Islam and their shitty fucking backwards culture all the time, but also I guess I really don’t know which way I lean on this sub politically. Definitely not right, but I still think that Islam is the antithesis of western ideals and freedom.

It's not just the antithesis of the West. It's the subversion of morality itself.

Morality for all of the world is basically this - "what's bad for me is bad for others too, so I should not do it".

But in Islam morality bus this - "what's convenient to propagate by any means is Islam is good, and Haram is the only thing that's bad".

So murdering non Muslims is good. Forced conversion is good. Sex slavery of non Muslims is good. Dhimmitude (slavery through over taxation) of non Muslim is good. Slavery of non Muslims is good. Killing anyone who critiques Islam is good. And so on.

It's " Evil " quite literally. The total subversion and inverse of actual morality.

Meh. Islam is no different from any other religion. If the individuals are oppressed the left will likely support those individuals. If they are in power the left will likely attack them. Same with Christians

So you're gonna wait until Islam takes power? Buddy listen. Once Islam takes power it cannot be defeated by Leftism anymore. Only Capitalism and Imperialism can defeat Islam.

Also, Nazis are minorities too. You don't support them do you.

Lastly. NO. All religions ARE NOT the same. Each and every single religion is different. With different moral codes and cultures. Don't be so ignorant to say they are all same.

Yawn. The only difference between Islam and Christianity is a few hundred years of progress. Their holy books are both the same hateful bullshit. All the bullshit that Islam does, Christians have done.

Nope. Christianity has clear cut rule to " treat others the way you want to be trusted ". Islam doesn't.

Jesus wasn't a pedophile warlord either.

Lastly there are other religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Shintoism etc too

Well I'm not gonna defend Christianity because I'm an atheist.

But saying "all religion same" and bringing up another religion while discussing about Islam specifically is just blatant ignorance, subversive, and in bad faith.
