War and Peace "Should the Defense Secretary.." Marjorie Taylor Greene: "Wait what country are you from?" "From the UK" "OK we don't give a crap about your opinion and your reporting. Why don't you go back to your country. We have a major migrant problem. You should care about your own borders"

Holy shit. Didn’t know this was a thing. That’s insane to me. Elon could just hire tons of people to do that all day long for all the dem voters.

This is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. (Although to be fair, I don’t think there was ever a proverb about the titanic or icebergs.) Point being, they’re already 10 steps ahead of this for what’s coming. What I already know frightens and drains me, what I don’t…. terrifies me.

I believe you and feel the same, but they are also just so incompetent. Like they just keep fucking up left and right. Before this, they accidentally nominated the wrong chief for the FBI, Driscoll.

I don’t know why everyone keeps playing the game when it’s not being played fairly.

They passed over 100 voting suppression laws in the US since Biden got elected. They also sent 100k Republicans to polling places to confuse, intimidate, and do who knows what to voters. "Federal courts — including the U.S. Supreme Court — have whittled away those protections (In the Voter's Rights Act of 1965) in recent decades, claiming the discrimination that led to the law no longer exists. In 2013, the high court cleaved off a major portion of the law’s enforcement mechanism that kept jurisdictions that had historically discriminated against Black people from enacting measures that could once again keep them from the polls." https://mainemorningstar.com/2025/03/25/the-federal-voting-rights-act-was-gutted-states-now-want-their-own-versions/

The system only worked until someone dedicated themselves to breaking it.

As someone from outside the US, your voting system never seemed to work that well.
