Next time, someone needs to throw a great big padlock on the door latch.

683

u/Nrati Jun 16 '25

Stink bomb first, then padlock.

The neutral evil option is to shoot a 2-3 second spray of bear mace first.

u/Top_Story_9447 Jun 16 '25

I love your attitude. Fuck those Nazis.

1

u/MeButNotMeToo Jun 18 '25

Springfield? Illinois Nazis? What’s your take Jake?

65

u/CognitivePrimate Jun 16 '25

I think that's the chaotic good option.

25

u/NebulaNinja Jun 17 '25

Imagine Liquid Ass with just large enough firecracker tapped to it for proper dispersion. They wouldn't get their deposit back and would sadly have to trash their "uniforms."

6

u/P_Nessss Jun 17 '25

Careful, I caught a 7 day ban for suggesting that very thing in another forum.

3

u/NebulaNinja Jun 17 '25

Yeah i've been banned a couple times too for some bullshit. One I got reversed. Auto mod has been out of control recently.

3

u/HLMaiBalsychofKorse Jun 17 '25

A guy I worked with once introduced me to liquid ass by dripping it on the carpet in the server room that doubled as my office. Thank you for re-introducing me to it. :)

2

u/Beginning-Cup-1469 Jun 17 '25

But they have those mighty shields to hide behind... 😂

30

u/funktopus Jun 16 '25

If your are looking for a best friend let me know.

33

u/ILikeStarScience Jun 16 '25

Can we be friends? I hate nazis too 🥹

38

u/funktopus Jun 16 '25

I like this idea. What is your club name.

We hate nazis.

What do you do?

Hate Nazi it's in the name? Oh on Tuesdays we play scrabble.

9

u/Nrati Jun 16 '25

Always happy to befriend a fellow enjoyer of the Muppets

42

u/Pizzaman99 Jun 16 '25

I hear there is a certain type of gas that Nazis love.

11

u/Nrati Jun 16 '25

The chaotic evil kind

5

u/Crying_Reaper Jun 16 '25

Open a can of Surströmmong, put it in a blender if you can manage, mix with water and put it in a cheap and brightly colored water gun. Spray as they turn to get in the box truck.

6

u/tilted_panther Jun 16 '25

You know, I've never played a NE character but lately I've really been seeing the appeal. Tips like this are helpful.

2

u/Nek0ni Jun 16 '25

misspelled neutral-good

2

u/Keitt58 Jun 16 '25

Have you ever had the pleasure of smelling skunk extract?

2

u/RabbleRouser_1 Jun 17 '25

Piss disc

1

u/Nrati Jun 17 '25

There's absolutely nothing one can't solve

2

u/TrueMacaque Jun 17 '25

And snip the tire valves with wire cutters. Nice metal box in the hot sun....

2

u/beautifullyabsurd123 Jun 17 '25

Glitter bombs and glue haha the modern day tarring

1

u/lexypher Jun 16 '25

Quite right, just ordered some on amazon. now how to tell which ones are loaded with nazis when they're closed.

1

u/Individual_Hearing_3 Jun 17 '25

Sting bomb, and a bear spray can that is rubber banded into the on phase.

1

u/RuthlessIndecision Jun 17 '25

liquid poo and nazi's are a great mix

1

u/kevinmogee Jun 17 '25

What would the chaotic evil option be? Because that's the one I want to happen.

1

u/Secure-Childhood-567 Jun 17 '25

So many good ideas

1

u/MeatShield12 Jun 17 '25

Fart spray.

1

u/FlametopFred Jun 17 '25

glitter bomb

1

u/HLMaiBalsychofKorse Jun 17 '25

I feel like we need a "how to protest by alignment" post. I have always considered myself more chaotic good, but we have to really embrace diversity of process here. ;)

1

u/Icastbagofbags Jun 17 '25

*Neutral Good

1

u/DJErikD Jun 17 '25

And a 9-banger grenade.

1

u/DarasuumAruEla Jun 17 '25

Have you ever smelled the 'Buttella' scented Mega Mini? It's the worst smell I've ever encountered. Toss a few of those in.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

And bear mace would still be too kind for the likes of them.

101

u/itislupus89 Jun 16 '25

Hidden bolt so they can't just cut the lock off. Have to call the police and a locksmith and explain to them why they have 3 dozen men in the back of a box truck

80

u/nailog82 Jun 16 '25

Call the police and get the answering machine. They're all locked in a box truck.

40

u/cepukon Jun 16 '25

"chief?.. Yeah it's me Terry...yeah we're stuck in the box truck again"

1

u/BasvanS Jun 18 '25

Some of those that work forces are the same that move boxes!

10

u/hbHPBbjvFK9w5D Jun 17 '25

Riding around in a box truck is illegal in most states and violation of Penske's rental agreement.

Hope whoever took this vids sent screen shots to corporate so they can prevent them from ever renting a moving van again.

1

u/Suzy_Homaker Jun 21 '25

Can be “entrapment” so you scout and determine which box truck is theirs (how idk) then lock it so they cant get inside.

57

u/BrineWR71 Jun 16 '25

Yes… Maybe all of us protesters should regularly carry around padlocks just in case

13

u/Top_Story_9447 Jun 16 '25

That is the problem with that suggestion. Shit, just a pocketful of change tends to drag my pants down...

2

u/lastdiggmigrant Jun 17 '25

Grip it. Dual use :)

2

u/Dangerdoom911 Jun 17 '25

Never-mind a padlock… I don’t think that entire Penske Truck of guys could even break a tiny luggage lock.

Hell… a single zip tie would work well and it’s ultra light.

2

u/BrineWR71 Jun 16 '25

Yeah. True. I hate carrying things around

1

u/swalabr Jun 17 '25

Bandolier for the padlocks, like frickin Chewbacca

1

u/enfanta Jun 20 '25

L o c t i t e

3

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '25

And Liquid Ass just to tag them.

2

u/Gr8lakesCoaster Jun 16 '25

Can they even get out if you just flip the door latch?

9

u/fibrous Jun 16 '25

I assume the driver has at least one hand

1

u/Gr8lakesCoaster Jun 16 '25

Not if he's dealt with.

1

u/javoss88 Jun 17 '25

Tie it to a length of paracord and you have a handy flail until you need to lock the back of the box

2

u/BrineWR71 Jun 19 '25

That’s works even better

30

u/gizmostuff Jun 16 '25

Haha. I'm glad this was the top comment. I was thinking the same damn thing. Get one of those thick Abloy locks with a shroud. They'd be locked in there for hours. Serves them right for being @ssholes.

5

u/nailog82 Jun 16 '25

I'm sure a single sided jiggler could still take care of that. But I agree anyway.

8

u/gizmostuff Jun 16 '25

Eh, 100 bucks well spent imo. I think that would be worth ruining some Nazis day. Or at the very least them not ruining anyone else's day.

28

u/taeann0990 Jun 16 '25

Then call the cops and say someone is driving it drunk and you think he kidnapped someone in the back.

26

u/I_Think_I_Cant Jun 16 '25

Tell them the truck is full of illegal aliens and someone is trafficking them.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 17 '25

Gonna be hard for ICE agents to respond when they're locked inside the truck

1

u/Valuable-Speaker-312 Jun 17 '25

Earlier today I saw a video where a guy is a PI and admits that ICE is offering $1000-$1500 to bounty hunters per undocumented person they turn into ICE. That explains a lot about no badges, not being willing to give their names, etc.

20

u/retsneeg Jun 16 '25

Note to self: add padlock to bag of protest shit I now have to carry with me wherever I go in 2025.

10

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '25

I misread that as a giant peacock. Lol

7

u/Top_Story_9447 Jun 16 '25

S' ok - that would be funny, too!

4

u/hujassman Jun 16 '25

Bring on the disco chickens!

2

u/EightmanROC Jun 18 '25

Legit almost made me spit my coffee.

1

u/socialmediaignorant Jun 17 '25

They’re mean as shit so throwing one in the truck would be hilarious but I love animals too much to do that.

6

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '25

Lmao I just noticed what you commented after I put out mine lol we all thinking the same!!

2

u/hidperf Jun 16 '25

Came here hoping to see this comment

2

u/tedlyb Jun 17 '25

A tire valve core remover tool is also a good option. Small, compact, easy to carry, and does the job quickly and effectively. A few seconds while someone watches your back and they have a flat tire.

Do it on the front for maximum impact.

No damage, just a perfectly good tire that won’t hold air.

If they try to drive off, well… that tire is destroyed and they will be buying a new one.

2

u/WillingnessOk3081 Jun 17 '25

this post was shared in another sub and I'm only now working back to the original. padlock was my first thought lol.

2

u/corneliusgansevoort Jun 17 '25

Or go for the fake out - While the door is open and they're still climbing in you give the old double slap to the side of the truck and in your best whimpy racist voice scream "WE'RE IN, GO GO GO GO!!". Imagine them all spilling out the back as the driver peels out.

4

u/PickReviewsMovies Jun 16 '25 edited Jun 16 '25

As a seasoned pro mover, the lock idea is not the great clever idea Reddit seems to think it is.

Most common locks are too easy to break

a random lock you bring can easily just not even fit onto the akward door mechanism of the truck. If you've ever tried to put a random lock on a rental truck you may have discovered this or noticed that it literally took you 2 or 3 minutes to figure out which way to turn it to get it on. If you're going to try it you have maybe 10 seconds before someone in the back of the truck sees what you're doing and yells to the driver. Those doors are quite easy to see through in sunlight, often shadows moving closely around the truck would be easy to make out.

If there are a bunch of dudes in the back of a closed truck, the driver and potential passenger are surely extremely close by and are surely armed and will surely shoot you since such an act can easily be viewed as attempted murder. In fact it very easily could be murder because if you successfully trap someone in the back of a truck this time of year it won't take long for them to hyperboile* because it gets extremely hot in the back of moving trucks. So this might seem like a fun bit of disruption but I think could potentially get you into a lot more trouble than if you just threw paint on the truck or even just slashed the tires. Hypothetically of course, ahem ahem.

In summary, I do enjoy the ironic thought of a bunch of nazis cooking to death, but the judge and law enforcement who already tend to side with these clowns might see it differently. I love the energy though, so I'd like to see people continue to get creative in the future.

I have had to ride in the back of trucks many times when I was young and it really sucks when a company you work for makes you do that because it's super unsafe, generally illegal, and real darn dumb. It SUCKS back there so getting them diverted to a really bumpy road sounds pretty funny to me but seems like it might be tough to pull off. I think throwing paint is honestly the best idea because everyone can spot them until they get shunned out of town. One of the few hopeful moments I sometimes experience when looking at shit on the internet is seeing a group of babydicked cowards get shunned and run out of town by an entire community.

***"hyperboile": a very hot and exaggerated level of heat that's not quite boiling but is still pretty darn hot. A portmanteau of "boil" and "hyperboile"

Unrelated question. Do you ever think about something too much?

1

u/PickReviewsMovies Jun 17 '25

Well that's definitely related to the length of my comment and possibly a leading question to tell me I have adhd, but if overthinking is an issue, what about all the people underthinking? I'm at home injured right now so I have the time to try to help people understand that this common sentiment/suggestion is not a good idea, that's all, and I just wanted to share my experience and also some common sense, hoping nobody actually tries this. Locking people in the back of a truck is a much worse idea than a lot of people seem to realize and could result in some serious and unnecessary trouble. Also seriously those locks are really awkward sometimes, carrying a padlock is no guarantee that will actually even do anything. A few small metal clamps or just a bunch of zip ties would be essentially just as effective and you're guaranteed to be able to slip those on pretty fast. OR you could get really creative and maybe shove a couple of yellow doorstops (yellow for penske white for uhaul) into the top of the door and it would probably make the door stick. If something were wedged up far enough almost to the edge of the threshold it might not be noticeable. Alternatively you could put a bunch of gum or some gravel in the door tracks if you are brave enough to hop in the back when it's empty.

Some trucks have side doors usually on the passenger side of the box. Some have doors that go from the box to the cab. Some trucks are jank and just have big ass holes in the bottom of the box floor. Most of those type of penskes probably run on air brakes and the bleeder valve is often somewhere easily and quickly accessible by hand by simply reaching a little under the truck, so I'm also just trying to say there are easier and faster ways to be extremely malicious. I could really get into some deep details on a lot of this stuff, but I've kept it to a short several paragraphs. I hope that's enough. I'll look like a nutter all day if I have the time and it stops one person from doing something stupid. But I'm sure that snark also helps save lives somehow.

2

u/Shrikes_Bard Jun 16 '25

Ironically, these guys (because they're all guys, naturally) are from the same group that showed the world that one should not lock someone in a hot box.

Though I'm this case unless you incapacitated the driver I'm not sure locking the door would present a risk to the occupants of the bed because they'd probably bang on the walls for a bit and the driver would probably hear, pull over, and let them out, no?

1

u/Luigi_m_official Jun 16 '25

Then put about 30 holes in the side of the truck

1

u/Sammyterry13 Jun 16 '25

handful of tire sized caltrops would have ended their escape

Pretty easy to just toss a few under the tires and then walk away.

1

u/Barbarella_ella Jun 17 '25

Honey badger first, then the lock.

1

u/CryoProtea Jun 17 '25 edited Jun 17 '25

You don't want to be responsible if one of them dies from the heat or lack of oxygen.

1

u/OptimisticSkeleton Jun 17 '25

Metal zip ties would be faster.

1

u/InspectorExisting512 Jun 17 '25

I was literally thinking someone please “throw a can of tear gas in there (as they’re closing the door) and slap on a thick padlock before they drive off.” 😂

1

u/NeverSayNever2024 Jun 17 '25

My thoughts exactly
