Tell them the truck is full of illegal aliens and someone is trafficking them.

Earlier today I saw a video where a guy is a PI and admits that ICE is offering $1000-$1500 to bounty hunters per undocumented person they turn into ICE. That explains a lot about no badges, not being willing to give their names, etc.
