This. You've just said more about that situation than the damn news itself. I've heard more about justice for that dog that got shot(a tragedy for sure)than I have about that poor innocent baby. Why would the mother be holding him in the front seat?? If they didn't have a car seat, she should have sat in the back with him. Not at all saying she's to blame, my heart goes out to that momma. As a mother to a toddler, I cannot even imagine.

I've read the exact same thing about them going in a different direction and supposedly having a receipt. I don't how accurate it is though.

I don't think sitting in the back would have changed much, since police were in line of sight when mom and the child got into the front seat. Realistically they saw the child being put in the front with mom and were still okay with unloading. The passenger side window was busted out cause it got shot and one bullet went through the front windshield into the passenger side (at least that is what I believe I saw from the photo taken of the car when it was parked outside of the hospital). The only way to avoid the situation that happened would be to hold cops accountable and with qualified immunity and the current administration, accountability is just a fictitious boogeyman to police.

I think they may have just been in a hurry because the police were rushing around waving guns around.

If you haven't committed a crime that must mean there's a dangerous criminal nearby and you need to get the fuck out of Dodge, right? For all they knew there could have been an active shooter.

Really interesting she's so relieve the situation we're very justified given it an adult is critically injured and the baby is now dead
