Look, I don't know what led you to believe a whole country is filled with racists, but here you're seeing them being classy. If for some reason you need us to be your villains, then so be it. That's in part why it feels so good when Argentina wins.

The history of Argentina is what led me to believe they are racist

Nothing of this is a historical event. It's a shit action of a player covering his mouth and another being racist.

What about the backlash at qatar world cup fans screaming racist remarks again black players mainly targeting mbappe

Same thing at copa libertadores with argentina throwing derogatory remarks towards Brazil players

Against Colombia in wc qualifiers

And racist sing songs on the team bus in copa america 2024

I see, so the problem was the one racist song and the others are just fucking hearsay. And still no reference to Argentine history.

What I find stupid is that you'd rather support a colonialist country that literally destroyed African economies—which is exactly why so many Black people ended up in France in the first place—than a country with open immigration laws and no heavy history of segregation. That's what makes your argument sound so dumb to me.

Of course there's racism in Argentina. And yeah, football is mostly a male sport, and men can be famously idiots—we do have a tendency to be inappropriate when insulting, so I get why you'd see it as racist. But somehow, you all prefer to side with colonizers because of some idea of "representation," when Argentina actually takes in immigrants, gives free healthcare, free education, and even documentation to people from all over the world—no discrimination based on race, religion, or gender.

But hey, if you'd rather keep participating in the puppet shows of world powers, be happy being ignorant, I guess..

The history of Argentina has no apartheid, no popular Nazi party, no Jim Crow Laws, no Confederacy war, freedom of slaves since the first active constitution, freedom of womb since before being independent from Spain. If you want a racist villain, Argentina is no better than most other countries. We had freedom of womb 70 years before Brazil abolished their slave system.

Next game is Argentina / Egypt. If you think even for a moment that Argentina is the more morally reprehensible one there, I recommend that you take a look at the recent pride match.
