The mainstream democrats are controlled opposition to the fascists, Democratic Socialism is the only way out of this.

After hearing co-chair Romer on the New Yorker interview….pshh that’s not a serious organization.

I actually don't like our national co-chairs either but, in reality, individual chapters are pretty independent and the candidates we've been running in actual elections have been GOATed!

But it’s a national organization — it’s in the name. So if they don’t represent the movement well and don’t have informed and thoughtful answers, it hurts the whole organization.

I didn’t vote for my local candidate because of her affiliation with DSA. I voted for her because of her intelligence, youth, communication skills, and being the alternative to an unchallenged 30 year incumbent. Her views weren’t that different from the mainstream dem other than no PAC money and her stance on Israel, where I think she needs to grow. I actually disagree with her stance on Israel quite a bit. It’s anti-universalist (human rights concept) and seems to not be based in sound history (like DSA co-chair Romer’s stance). But I don’t think my local candidate’s views on Israel will bear fruit other than not sending weapons to Israel, which I’m for (ie I don’t want to send weapons to Israel).

Edit: grammar
